The present scenery includes more than fifty buildings and objects including the newly inaugurated terminal and annex. The Québec City Airport is the base for the operation and maintenance of the CL215 and CL415 tanker fleet of the Quebec Government Air Service. This scenery, which required hundreds of hours of work, was made from a very complete photographic documentation, which aims to be more in line with reality.

Hi thanks for the positive feedback, the plan is to launch during spring next year, however I don't want to promise any dates as what matters the most to me is to release a good product that every user would love.
You know how it is, it is better to be late but have an amazing product than rush things and bring disappointments to your users.
I am also currently in discussions with Dave Hoges regarding the procedures and quality controls we will use during his beta tests so we can ensure that all end users will receive the best experience possible with the final product.
Regarding the price, this would be revealed at a later stage.
    Best Regards

Hello guys, i would like to share with you the below video from the delivery flight of CS-PHH from USA to Portugal, it's special to me because i worked nearly 4 years at Netjets Europe as a Maintenance Controller. The video is narrated by Mike Rowe and i think it's a great insight as to what goes behind the scenes of the operation. I hope you guys enjoy it as much as i did.

  13. smurf_john liked a post in a topic by Dreadmetis in Landing Rate Monitor - get those stats on your screen !
Well I was searching for an alternative to the only good thing left in FSCloud : the landing rate popup window... I understood that the window from the stream could not be seen by the streamers from TSL as what we see as viewers is not on the client side...
I first went to Simbuddy, which is a kind of a hassle cause it want to start with your computer and uses a bunch of memory you don't need when not flying. I then stumbled on some scripts in Lua, that were not easy to configure depending on your ESP version.
But there is an old + very stable + easy to use + free tool called simply Landing Rate Monitor. You just start the app before your flight, and if you have text messages inside sim activated, you'll get a line stating your stats at landing directly inside the sim. You also can have the app window on top.
It also filters bounces from the real landing.

Best thing about it : it works with any ESP flight sim ! FSX all versions, P3D all versions, without any setting !
  14. smurf_john liked a post in a topic by Dreadmetis in Tips for modding your FSW Scenery.cfg file
Hey guys, late topic, but I have made a promise to mister B ! Here it is : tips and tricks to add your P3D sceneries to FSW easily (on a per case basis, as some sceneries are not compatible with FSW like the UK2000's ones)
1st you have to locate and make a save of your FSW's scenery.cfg file. There are two of them :
    - C:\ProgramData\Dovetail Games\FSW\scenery.CFG
    - C:\Users\(yourname)\AppData\Roaming\Dovetail Games\FSW\scenery.CFG

Then you can simply edit them with a notepad or similar tool.

Here is an example where I integrate OrbX Vector (works like a charm) where my installed Vector is in P3D v4 on a F disk. You will notice I will only demonstrate with stuff that is already in use for another sim, as FSW is in development, it is noy very safe to do direct installations inside it  :

    Hi all,
Very good news for African flyers! FSDG has you covered with this new release for Mayotte Intl. Go take a look at the picture via the link below, it's definitely worth it! I always admired FSDG for their talent, the pace at which they release as well as their aim at targeting African sceneries and sceneries that are needed and that nobody did before.
Question remains... will there be a Madagascar scenery anytime soon? The default one is almost unusable given mountains on either side which renders ILS approaches impossible. According to some exchanges I had with the developer over at Facebook, there is a new terminal being built and it won't be finished until 2020. The developer will then, maybe, take a look at the last big island of the Indian Ocean.

There are several others that I cannot go into right now, but everything we do on that side of things always has a great filter down to the fs hobbist market and from our point of view the A2A software simulators you fly at home on your desk are essentially the same to what are used in the certified and non certified flight training areas in area such as to the numbers, correct flight models and what not.

When the 2 last DLCs ("View & Slew" and "Moving Map and camera" were out for FSW (not DLCs made by Dovetail, but still, appearing on the Steam list), there has been some negativity (from me also : I do not recommand to buy these specific 2 DLCs) from the community about DLCs and development path.
As there has been a little gap in the DTG's communication, Stephen Hood took time to make an explicative post (on Steam and official forum) that you can find there :

Safe to say after a quiet from fs hobbyist pov 2017 from A2A its going to be quite a busy 2018 as some of our professional flight training projects close up.
