  1. You can add the Carenado B1900D to the updated list. Not announced but listed on their product page. Already tested in v4, even the weather radar is working.
  2. After a few tweaks I really like this plane. I am sure I saw bCrawly doing a livestream in a UN repaint - anyone have any idea where I can find this
  3. The instructions in the PDK for using the command line are more aimed at devs creating installers Another method to achieve the same result 1. Create a new folder under your 'C:\Users\yourusername\Documents\Prepar3D v4 Add-ons\ - I called mine RealAir 2. Create the add-on.xml as described above - but use absolute paths and add it to the newly created folder I store all my external add-ons in a folder G:\P3Dx - In that folder I have a RealAir Folder for the Duke & Lancair my addon.xml looks like this <SimBase.Document Type="AddOnXml" version="3,3" id="add-on"> <AddOn.Name>RealAir</AddOn.Name> <AddOn.Description>RealAir Aircraft</AddOn.Description> <AddOn.Component> <Category>SimObjects</Category> <Path>G:\P3Dx\RealAir\SimObjects\Airplanes</Path> </AddOn.Component> <AddOn.Component> <Category>Effects</Category> <Path>G:\P3Dx\RealAir\Effects</Path> <Name>RealAirEffects</Name> </AddOn.Component> </SimBase.Document> Produces the same result Since I use the same technique for P3Dv3 - it was simply a matter of copying & pasting the RealAir folder from 'Documents\Prepar3D v3 Add-ons\' to 'Documents\Prepar3D v4 Add-ons\'
  4. FSUIPC v5 NOT READY YET (Edited Post) Sorry I jumped the gun on this one. Simmarket have it up for sale (at the wrong price) but Pete Dowson says it's not ready http://forum.simflig...5-upgrade-cost/ FSUIPC v5 FOR P3DV4 now on sale at Simmarket http://secure.simmarket.com/pete-dowson-fsuipc5-for-p3dv4.phtml There is no mention that it has been released on the FSUIPC forum...found it by accident.
  5. Aerosoft Twin Otter updated to P3Dv4 Aerosoft have released a new installer with a P3Dv4 option
  6. SceneryConfigEditor I find this utility invaluable ... there is now a beta build available ..but it may have issues see this post for details:- https://sourceforge.net/p/fs-sceditor/discussion/1357803/thread/4ac46615/?limit=25#1310/50c0/9a1c Note if you use the Chrome browser it will warn you it might be unsafe - select Keep.
  7. FlyTampa has already started to release compatiblity patches for some their airports KaiTak, Toronto, Dubai, StMaarten, Sydney http://www.flytampa.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=10302
  8. Yup, that was me. The man makes a plane and doesn't know how it works...scary. For me the ability to use wheels and floats without having to switch models mid-flight is huge. Integration of weather radar and Flight1 GTN definitely great selling points. Going to be an expensive month, orbx sale, p3dv4 and now this.
  9. Ok now for the really big one.................There will be an FSUIPC5 for P3D4! http://forum.simflight.com/topic/82730-64-bit-compatibility/ It will take a while and will be a completely new version
  10. Little NavMap - should be ready by release date...in test at them moment https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/510754-little-navmap-and-p3d-v4/#comment-3627994
  11. UK2000 Airports - probably not on release, but will be updated to v4 http://www.uk2000scenery.org/forum/index.php?topic=8834.0
  12. SPAD.neXt will be compatible on release...LVARs tool a little later https://www.spadnext.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=14181
