  2. Flight Sim Development Group Previews Upcoming Pilots of the Caribbean Project Flight Sim Development Group (FSDG) has previewed some shots of their upcoming Pilots of the Caribbean project on their Facebook page. First up in the series appears to be the island of St. Vincent. While details are scarce, the shots show some amazing photos of both Argyle International Airport (TVSA) and the surrounding island. A post on the developers forum promises something “very soon”, and comments on the Facebook post are equally scant in details. In the meantime, enjoy some amazing shots of FSDG’s upcoming St. Vincent scenery. 5. MILVIZ - 310R REDUX FSX P3D out now Elegance and Power Immensely popular, this well-known twin has graced the skies for over 60 years. Our 310 brings all of the style and class you would hope to find in your simulated skies, along with unrivalled flight dynamics and exquisite attention to detail. MilViz 310R Redux: Our favourite twin re-imagined Arguably one of general aviation’s most desired light twin-engine airplanes, we are pleased to present our updated 310R Redux, completely revised and supporting a full range of simulation platforms, including FSX and Prepar3D. Enhanced and upgraded How do you improve a classic? Take it apart and rebuild it from the ground up. New completely reworked high quality interior and exterior textures Revised and revamped navigation unit implementation Included REX/Milviz WXR weather radar (P3D latest versions only) Brand new soundset TrueGlass windshield weather effects (P3D v4 only) New electronic engine gauges (EDM700) New RealLight state-of-the-art night lighting system (P3D v4 only) - including automatic cabin light illumination when the pax door is opened. Twice the Twin We have more than doubled the number of interior and exterior textures to give you the most faithful rendition of the 310 yet. Attention to Detail With a 310R owner on our testing team, nothing but the best would do! We've focused all of our energy and talent into breathing new life into an aclaimed classic. We have built on our previous simulation and improved it in every department. From the highly detailed modeling both inside and out and smooth custom gauge animations to the finely crafted textures and high fidelity sounds recorded from a real aircraft, we've ensured that our twin is closer than ever to the real thing. Also included is a very accurate simulation of the venerable KAP 140 autopilot. Faithful to the original, from the font used to the replication of servo drives on the trim wheels and the yoke. The logic used in the KAP 140 has been carefully replicated to deliver one of the most realistic autopilot simulations available. A separate manual for the autopilot has been included. Perfecting a Twin We've paid particular attention to the flight dynamics, with a heavy focus on creating an aircraft that is realistic not only in the visual department, but also in the way it handles. The 310R Redux is a powerful and capable aircraft and we wanted to capture an authentic feel to the controls. Hundreds of hours of testing and expert refinement have resulted in a rewarding, yet ultimately enjoyable, flight experience. Highly Configurable The MilViz 310R Redux includes our own highly detailed GPS units based on the default simulator data, however we recognize that many of our customers use other popular 3rd party options for replicating the GPS functions. For the 310R Redux, we've bundled in compatibility for the most popular avionics add-ons with multiple configurations available to choose from. Compatible 3rd party avionics include the following: Flight1 750 GTN Flight1 650 GTN Reality XP 530 GNS Reality XP 430 GNS Navstax Radio/Navigation Suite Please note that compatibility for the above gauge packages includes support for installation and setup of our product only; use of any of the offered options requires a functional existing installation of the appropriate gauge. In addition, any gauges we list compatibility for are not included with the MilViz 310R Redux. Use of any 3rd party avionics package in any desired simulator is of course also restricted to the availability of the avionics package for that simulator. Please see the respective manufacturers websites for platform compatibility. Single Purchase, Multi-Platform Use The MilViz 310R Redux package now supports a wide range of platforms, in a single, downloadable installer: FSX: Acceleration FSX: Steam Edition Prepar3d v2 Prepar3d v3 Prepar3d v4 MVAMS Updating Capability Our innovative MilViz Aircraft Management System (MVAMS) is now included with the 310R Redux package. Our MVAMS pre-flight configuration utility runs outside the simulator providing the means to configure and incrementally update individual products to quickly address issues and make fixes when required, without having to download and reinstall complete new versions of the aircraft. This allows our customers to quickly discover and install any pending updates for their aircraft, ensuring that they are completely up-to-date with our latest fixes, changes, or technology. Special Features: Realistic flight dynamics by Bernt Stolle Realistic startup and shutdowns Realistic systems and avionics Several functional doors, compartments and functional inflatable main door seal 5 HD liveries Realistic night lighting, landing lights and custom effects Support for 3rd Party Avionics (RealityXP, Flight1, Navstax) High quality external and internal models Highly detailed product operating handbook included True Glass, Real Light and REX/Milviz WXR all included SOURCE INFO DEVELOPER POST LINK : http://secure.simmarket.com/milviz-310r-redux-fsx-p3d.phtml NEWS SITE ARTICLE LINK :

  24. My new PC build is done. Software installed. Now I want to fly. Before I had some issues with flight planning. I want to verify how you guys use PFPX and Navigraph. I signed up for Navigraph to get the latest updates and have all my data in PFPX match whats in my FMC in the PMDG planes. When I start up PFPX it says there has been a change that was applied and I should check the routes. I run this and many of them get checked and have an ! next to them. Am I supposed to delete these? I did this before on my other computer but I noticed on many SIDS and STARS, the waypoints did not match what was in my FMC. I just want to make sure I set this up correct this time as I really want to do more 777 and 737 flying. Thanks, Caderly SOURCE INFO DEVELOPER POST LINK : NEWS SITE ARTICLE LINK :
