OMGEDSON liked a post in a topic by darrenvox in McDonnell 220 coming to P3D
The McDonnell 119/220 was a business jet produced by the McDonnell Aircraft in the mid-1950s. It had a configuration that was unique by bizjet standards, with four jet engines mounted in individual pods underneath a low wing; it could accommodate ten passengers in a luxury executive configuration but could carry as many as 26.
heres one some dude is making for fsx p3d...check link..

Hi guys,
I just uploaded a new video on youtube in which I talk about the new update (v0.04) for our Lockheed Vega 5. The update will be available on Friday (fingers crossed and thumbs pressed (that's the German version of fingers crossed)). Here's what you can expect of it:
I'm very excited about the new effects that come with the update. This includes start-up, smoke, a new landing light, touchdown, etc.
The effects are custom designed and provided by:
And look amazing!
I also decided to give my physics engine a name. It shall henceforth be known that the Wing42 Lockheed Vega 5 is powered by:
Please note that the price of the Vega will increase by 5 Euros with this update. If you purchase it before version 0.04 you'll be only pay the introductory price of 25 Euros. (Plus, don't forget the TSL discount)
Cheers,
Vitus

In aviation, aircraft conversions are standard practice, with older aircraft being converted from passenger to cargo configurations. On Monday, however, American Airlines and Tomorrow’s Aeronautical Museum, a local Los Angeles aviation museum, unveiled the first-ever DC-3 aircraft converted into a gourmet food truck. The DC-3/food truck, named the “DC-3 Gourmet,” is sourced from an old DC-3 fuselage that had formerly served in World War II.
Maybe edson will check this out!!
as this is in compton, at the woodly airport there are some places in the city that you dont want to go to...try to stay as far away from downtown as possible while getting to the airport where this museum and dc-3 is situated...compton is know as one of the highest crime capitals in the u.s as of the 1980s and still stands...so if you go there please be advised on this...and aprat from that go have fun!1

I'm not worried about it. They've been trying to kill off the B52 for decades. The BONE....is today's work horse of our fleet of Bombers. Long live the BONE!

Hello pilots,
So I came across an issue were I could not taxi any GA aircraft properly in XP. After a long bout of frustration, looking at configs and posting a question it appears that by default XP disables your nose wheel steering. This effectively turns ANY GA (not sure about heavies) normal rudder pedal input to taxi into a free castoring nose wheel even if the plane does not have free castor.
The fix is you need to set a bind to a key or stick for nose wheel steering toggle thus allowing you to reengage normal ground taxi operations.
If you have this issue, hopefully this clears it up for you!!

Hello fellow loungers,
I just wanted to put out a thanks to all for the continued support and involvement with the Lounge. From the initial days of myself, Edson and Sparks talking about how we would like to see this and now a couple years in its grown I am very surprised. We have had some ups/downs, creative differences, people coming and going and some rather "entertaining" moments chatting with all but overall its been a goodtime.
Here's to continued growth, new faces, new experiences and more fun!
Thanks one and all!
Your I dont Give a Flying F because I will tell it straight co-creater/host (looking to stream soon).

FSFX Packages Issues Statement on ‘Antiviruses False Positives’
As detailed in the post from FSFX Packages, the flight sim community has been shaken up lately with how some developers try to counter piracy of their products. The result of this has been that of some concern to some users on what other developers may do to their PCs and Simulators. Part of this is due to how complex add-ons are now becoming and the measures they’re taking to create fantastic experiences of the user. These complexities do sometimes mean that add-ons may do things that aren’t deemed normal or may inject additional information into the sim behind the scenes. None of these techniques (from trusted developers) are intended to be abusive or cause harm, but to simply get their products to work. With all this attention on ‘Antivirus False Positives’ recently, FSFX Packages wanted to shed some light on what they do to try and be as transparent as possible.
