  1. It seems as if Armi Project are on a roll releasing P3D v4 builds of their past airports, with Tehran being released for v4 just a few days ago. Today, Muscat International, ICAO OOMs, has received the P3D v4 treatment! Features are typical of Armi Project, with full detail static jetways, custom taxi lines and taxi lights, custom ground textures, and more. Those intrigued can find the product at Simmarket for a reasonable price (in my opinion) of 13 euros. As noted previously, the product is only compatible with P3D v4. Features Scenery made with Gmax for better performance All main buildings( terminal, control tower, cargo and military hangars and more) Fully detail static jetways and bridge to concourse. Custom made lines, taxiway and taxi lights. Custom Gmax ground texture from satellite photos will make you feel like being in the real airport. Surrounding area including military hangar , Fuel tank facility VIP Terminal , Royal terminal , Cargo bay ,etc. SOURCE INFO DEVELOPER POST LINK : https://secure.simmarket.com/armi-project-muscat-international-airport-ooms_p3d.phtml NEWS SITE ARTICLE LINK : https://fselite.net/news/armi-project-muscat-international-ooms-released-for-p3d-v4/
  2. MK-Studios promised September 14th and they have delivered. Lisbon Airport, in Portugal, is now available from MK-Studios. Developed from the ground up using the latest technology from p3Dv4, the airport represents the most detailed airport for the capital yet. The launch trailer above showcases all the brand new features coming to the airport. Lisbon will incldue SODE jetways, 3D people, condition-based weather effects on the ground as well as interactive holding point lights. All the options can be adjusted to the user’s liking. You can buy the airport now from either the MK-Studios website or via SimMarket. The price is 23 Euros (excluding tax). We’ll have a full review online shortly. CONTEST TIME: If you buy the scenery and share a screenshot of our little Easter Egg within the scenery and tag us in the post, we’ll share a special beta access code to that particular website with you. Have a hunt around and tell us when you find it. Either email us, comment below or tag us via Facebook! 3. It’s essentially a monthly ritual, where sim pilots hit that “Update” button in the Navigraph FMS Data Manager to keep their navigational data up to date for their next flight. In doing so, the data manager updates all of the (supported) installed aircraft and add-on applications that simmers hold in their arsenal. This month though, Navigraph has made a lot of X-Plane pilots rather excited with the addition of support for Active Sky XP in the data manager application. Active Sky XP (or “ASXP” as the developer has been abbreviating it) is the name of yet-to-be-released, X-Plane specific weather engine by HiFi Simulations, and back in June, they provided their biggest update on how the development was coming along, plus information on when X-Plane users might be able to see the engine working its magic in their sim. At that point in time they opened up beta testing applications, with an expected beta of Q3 2018 – at timeframe which we have just ticked over into at the start of this month, meaning that the development appears to be right on track given the addition of this nav data support. This being the case, they also gave an expected final release of Q1 2019. All going well during the beta phase, signs seem to point to this being an accurate estimate too. That said, FSElite is not aware of any beta invitations having been sent to interested parties at the time of writing, despite the enormous amounts of applications that were received by HiFi at the time of opening the expressions of interest. Long having been at or near the top of the “stuff I want from the P3D platform” list for most X-Plane users, it’s almost hard to believe that it’s finally within reach. 4. Over on their Facebook page, A2A Simulations announced that their upcoming Accu-Sim V-Tail Bonanza is “on short final…”. Included with this little teaser was a single preview of the V-Tail coming into land. That’s all that was shared for now, though it was hinted at by A2A that they’ve implemented a form of rain visualization into the Bonanza; time will tell whether that turns out to be factual or simply a tease for what’s to come. We’ll let you know when the aircraft is out. 5. It’s been a few months since we last heard about the Ultimate 787 from QualityWings Simulations. However, today they’ve come out of that silence and posted a new image on their Facebook. The teaser image shows us two important things: Wind data looks to have been added The update, 1.1.2, is due out in September 2018. We already know that RealLight from TFDi Design is going to be included in the new update. We’re also hoping that the changes in the fuel loading will be present also! Hopefully soon, the team will provide more details on what users can expect from the update. 7. MK-Studios confirmed last week that Lisbon would be launching on September 14th. In preparation for the release of the scenery, Video partners AviationLads were tasked with creating the final launch trailer. The 2 and a half minute video showcases the new features that will come packaged with the airport, along with some of the cool special effects new and included 3D modeled buildings. Finally, after a week of speculation, we can confirm that MK-Studios will be tackling on the Irish beast: Dublin Airport. The Irish airport is home to many airlines and offers a huge route range for simmers in Europe. We’ll be keeping an eye on details. Lisbon releases on September 14th via the MK-Studios store and SimMarket. https://youtu.be/UanS5GJcyts DEVELOPER POST LINK : NEWS SITE ARTICLE LINK : https://fselite.net/previews/mk-studios-lisbon-launch-trailer-new-airport-confirmed/
  8. Totally agree @Gibbon , well done Durka roll on the first stream 👍🎬
  9. NZGS Gisborne Airport and cityscape. This regional airport is situated on the outskirts of Gisborne, on the East Coast of the North Island in New Zealand. Gisborne Airport is one of the few airports in the world that has a railway line, the Palmerston North-Gisborne Line, crossing the main runway. The airport is situated just next to the ocean in Poverty Bay, with spectacular views of the Young Nick’s Head mountain as you depart over open waters. It comprises of a single terminal with only one gate, one asphalt runway with 1310 meters available and several grass runways in all directions. Main operators are Air New Zealand and Sunair. Combined with medical flights, SAR, and GA-Traffic, the airport is at times quite busy. Just north of the airport lies a hospital with it’s own helicopter landing pad. Gisborne is ORBX’ first airport to combine an airport with a City Scene, using Allen Kriesman’s Xpressim software. Included is the entire city of Gisborne, with close to 100% of buildings present. Coupled with over 100.000 autogen trees and additional buildings outside the city, this package includes everything you would see on a trip into or out of Gisborne Airport. Make sure to be ready on the runway at 1PM, to watch the WA165 steam train make it’s way across the runway carrying passengers, like it did more than a hundred years ago. 10. Orbx has announced the launch of their official Twitch streaming channel. The all new and official Twitch channel will go live for the first time in late October, with the streams set to show off scenery and airport previews while also giving a stage to company news and competitions. In the announcement on the Orbx forum, CEO John Venema is quoted as saying that this channel is something he has always wanted to do. Live streams on the channel will be hosted by the company’s Community and Marketing Manager, Aimee Sanjari, alongside well known and established Twitch streamer, Brendan Quinn – better known by his channel name of Dirkadurka. The company felt that Brendan was a suitable choice to get involved with the channel being that he has many years of streaming and simming experience, while also being a regular user of both major simulators, Prepar3D and X-Plane. With the first stream set to kick off at the end of October, registered Twitch users can head over to the brand new channel to follow it and be notified when the inaugural stream goes live. 11. After a long wait and many delays, Aerosoft has released the A320/A321 Professional for Prepar3D v4.3. The new release is a complete overhaul of the previous Airbus A320/A321 that was released for FSX and earlier Prepar3D versions a number of years ago. While the product has been completely re-written, Aerosoft say that the same basic idea of the product remains – an aircraft where simulation of flying is the primary goal, with aircraft systems being secondary to be used as tools only. Keen Airbus fans will have no doubt purchased the A318/A319 package that was released a couple of months ago, and anyone who bought these in the A320 Family Professional bundle will now have the ability to download and install the A320/A321. The bad news for these purchasers is that the eagerly awaited Connected Flight Deck v2 is still not yet implemented, with the aim for this feature’s introduction still set for the SP1 update. The feature list for an aircraft like this is simply just too large to summarise, so click through to the full article to see the complete list. Head to the Aerosoft store to pick up the A320/A321 for $60.99, or grab the A320 Family Professional bundle for $80.99. 12. The Stearman (Boeing) Model 75 is a biplane formerly used as a military trainer aircraft, of which at least 10,626 were built in the United States during the 1930s and 1940s. Stearman Aircraft became a subsidiary of Boeing in 1934. Widely known as the Stearman, Boeing Stearman or Kaydet, it served as a primary trainer for the United States Army Air Forces, the United States Navy (as the NS & N2S), and with the Royal Canadian Air Force as the Kaydet throughout World War II. After the conflict was over, thousands of surplus aircraft were sold on the civilian market. In the immediate post-war years they became popular as crop dusters, sports planes, and for aerobatic and wing-walking use in air shows. Our representation of this iconic aircraft is fully animated with tooltips active in the VC cockpit for all animated parts. It is fully compatible with all versions of FSX and P3D. High quality, fully animated 3D models representing USAAF and US Navy options Fully modelled detailed Continental and Lycoming engines High Resolution (4096 x 4096) textures Fully animated virtual cockpit with VC shadowing and smooth 3D modelled gauges User-controlled Configuration Manager Virtual Cockpit custom sound package Volumetric propeller textures High Fidelity sound files by Immersive Audio Precision flight dynamics Fully animated pilot figures Paint Kit SOURCE INFO DEVELOPER POST LINK : https://www.justflight.com/product/golden-age-simulations-stearman-pt-n2s NEWS SITE ARTICLE LINK : https://fselite.net/news/golden-age-simulations-stearman-ptn2s-released/
  13. A bit of a different release than what we usually see, Armi Project has released Tehran International Airport, ICAO OIIE. The airport features GMAX modeling, full detail jetway/bridges, photoreal textures, custom taxi lines and lights, static jetways, and more. A full feature list can be viewed below for those interested. Tehran can be yours for a price of 13 Euros from SimMarket, and is currently only compatible with P3D v4. While this may not be the highest quality airport we’ve reported on, it’s the best the region has available at the moment and it is certainly an eccentric destination for those looking for a change from flying traditional routes. Features Scenery made with Gmax for better performance All main buildings( terminal, control tower, cargo and military hangars and more) Fully detail jetways and bridge to concourse.
