  1. 2. FlyTampa Previews Las Vegas McCarran Intl. (KLAS) The last we’ve heard from FlyTampa regarding Las Vegas was back in July, today, over on their Facebook page, they’re back with one landside preview of Las Vegas McCarran Intl. Terminal 3. FlyTampa had announced in their previous post that they are doing the strip and surrounding suburban area around the airport which has taken them a lot longer than expected. We will eagerly be waiting for more previews of the rest of the airport and surrounding area. We don’t have much more information regarding FlyTampa Las Vegas, but we will ensure to keep you updated as more news regarding the airport surfaces. Here’s a photo of the real world Terminal 3 for comparison: SOURCE INFO https://fselite.net/previews/flytampa-previews-las-vegas-mccarran-intl-klas/

  4. 5. FSElite Exclusive: Envtex SP2 Previews TOGA Projects have kindly provided us with some exclusive Envtex Service Pack 2 information and eye-catching previews to share. Word of SP2 comes nearly two years after the initial release of Envtex which has come a long way in terms of development. Continuing development and providing support for Envtex is really important to the developers. They would like to thank everyone who has believed in and supported their team in one way or another. TOGA Projects endeavour to deliver a low-cost, user-friendly and high quality but most importantly, a complete utility. They hope they’ve been able to bring such a product to the market with such qualities but with always having room for improvements. The devs took a look back at the first version of Envtex and realised how much the current product has evolved. Almost every file was updated and they could almost say that it’s a completely new product with no upgrade feed ever to be charged to you, the end user. Based on the feedback received, the devs have worked on many aspects of the utility but they’ve especially paid attention to the clouds which was understood to be a weak point. Creating new cloud models was a pointless idea as the majority of the community use HiFi ASCA and REX SkyForce 3D clouds, so they’ve decided to support both, as they do bring along their own cloud textures, TOGA Projects felt that they could bring something different that would fit both products. The challenge here was to make the perfect compromise between realistic-looking soft clouds and photorealistic clouds. Hopefully, they’ve succeeded in doing so but with the end-result to rely on community’s judgement. Although clouds are not the only enhancement. Many textures were reworked from scratch such as the airport textures which will bring life to freeware and default airports. There is a pretty extensive but comprehensive SP2 changelog at the end of this article for you to view. TOGA Projects are in the final stages of completing the new version of Envdir to further move onto the beta testing phase. The previews shown are still work-in-progress as there is still some fine-tuning going on although the final result should be really close if not identical. 6. You PMDG B747-8 owners must be feeling quite foolish now that the Abacus estimation of the airplane has been released. All the FSX simmers can rejoice - all 3 of you that are still clutching to it. Now, you can experience the absolutely stunning exterior and interior of a Boeing 747-8, faithfully represented by Abacus using real-world photographs edited through the master tool 'MS Paint' in Windows OS. Some might think that having a shell of an aircraft would be more than enough to satisfy their quest for the ultimate Queen of the Skies but wait! You get more. A lot more. Abacus has not only given you a shiny new exterior, no sir, they've also given you a crisp, new, state of the art, 100% accurate to the real world counterpart flight deck! Obviously.. tested by real world 747 pilots, as all airplane add-ons for our sims are. Here are a few features that you are awarded for your 'cup of coffee a day' monies: "- External cockpit section - Window frame, pilot seats - Gauges: Radar Height, Seatbelt, No Smoke - Flaps - Gauge of miscellaneous flightparameter - Sound" and much much more! Why spend triple digits of your savings on a PMDG when you can get this for not EUR 100, 75, 50. No! You get all of the above plus a whole lot more for JUST EUR 16.79! So what are you waiting for? Go visit Simmarket right now and bring this beauty to a hangar near you! PMDG, you better watch out because Abacus is out to steal your customers and take the entire community by storm! By the way, if THIS is Boeing, I definitely ain't going! P.S.: This is meant to be a parody of what our community can produce. It showcases the spectrum of add-on development and is only meant to induce a bit of laughter. Please do not take offense to anything mentioned above and enjoy the lighthearted satire it provides. If unsatisfied, please contact @OMGEDSON while being as thorough and detailed in your explanation (minimum 2000 words) of why the above offends you and we'll try to assist you with the medical care you may be mandated to acquire. Also, I don't know who made this text so small. SOURCE INFO DEVELOPER POST LINK : https://secure.simmarket.com/afs-design-boeing-747-8-v2-fsx.phtml NEWS SITE ARTICLE LINK :

  9. Flight1 Updates FS Effects (FS Stall Effects) Over on their Facebook page, Flight One Software has announced that an update to their FS Effects utility has been released. This update also brings a name revision, FS Effects was previously named FS Stall Effects. FS Effects is a unique and highly-configurable add-on utility for FSX/SE and Prepar3D v3-4 which realistically enhances your virtual flight experience. The add-on utility has received an update to version 1.02 which adds more controls to tweak and edit your aircraft’s flight characteristics. This update introduces throttle response tweaking, engine start-up time tweaking and a battery life extension which allows you to increase the length of time your aircrafts’ battery will last for before the engine gets to juice it up which is unrealistic for some aircraft. The interface allows you to select an aircraft from your library and make adjustments to the characteristics listed at the end of this article. 10. The last we’ve seen of Carenado’s work-in-progress Falcon 50 was back in September. This month, they’re back with a plethora of in-sim previews of the fully textured and modeled interior, cockpit and exterior over on their Facebook page. The Dassault Falcon 50 is a French-made, long-range, business trijet primarily used by wealthy corporate individuals and Air Forces around the world. From the previews, we can see that the Falcon 50 is retrofitted with Carenado’s own Proline 21 avionics. Texture-wise, it looks immaculate as always just like with most of Carenado’s add-ons having the aircraft interior fully-textured all the way to the back of the of the fuselage with detail all over. We don’t have much information on the Falcon 50 regarding a release date or full feature list but a release may be very likely on the horizon by the look of these previews. Namely ground satellite imagery improvements and also huge improvements to the auto-gen. The previews below showcase the improvements which will be found in the 1.2 update (which will be free for all users). Lisbon continues to be a popular airport for simmers so it’s fantastic to see MK-Studios continue to develop and maintain the airport even post-release. 12. UK2000 Share Renders of Bournemouth Xtreme Following on from the announcement from UK2000 Scenery that they will soon stop developing the Xtreme series and focus on new technology, the team are still pressing ahead with their planned airports under that brand. One such airport is Bournemouth. Over on Facebook, to share their progress, the team posted two images showcasing the on-going work for the airport’s development. No other new information was shared at this time, but it’s nice to see things progressing. We’ll be sure to inform you of any new updates going forward. As of right now, it’s due out in 2019 for Prepar3D. Maybe an X-Plane conversion isn’t off the cards either with their recent stint of releases.
