  1. Milviz King Air 350i Previews And New Aircraft Announcement SOURCE INFO An extremely anticipated aircraft, the Milviz King Air 350i has been in the works for quite some time now. While we hadn’t seen any new previews on the aircraft for a short while, Milviz changed that over the past few weeks with a few new previews of the Proline21 that will be incorporated into the aircraft as well as Rex WX Radar integration! https://www.facebook.com/Milviz/ https://fselite.net/previews/milviz-king-air-350i-previews-and-new-aircraft-announcement/
  2. MK-Studios Release New Lisbon Previews MK-Studios has given us more photos of their upcoming scenery, Lisbon, over on their Facebook page. These shots show off some of the texturing and gpoly work that has been done by MK-Studios. Based on the shots given, the scenery looks to have very high-quality textures. They have also gone with the approach of the wear and tear look as well based on the tire marks, cracks, and rubber smears on the runways and taxiways. Two of the shots in the post were of the highly detailed Ponte 25 de Abril and the Vasco da Gama bridges, showing how much effort has gone into this product. 3. Orbx Netherlands TrueEarth Aerofly FS 2 Previews Orbx has said time and time again that 2018 is the year where all the research and development will start to come to fruition. Part of that process was releasing their new technology which has been named TrueEarth. The first in a long line of TrueEarth products is Netherlands. We reviewed it a few weeks back for P3Dv4, but today, Orbx wanted to preview the technology but this time in Aerofly FS 2. If you don’t know what TrueEarth technology is, it’s a blend of photoreal terrain and more traditional scenery development. Meaning that buildings, vegetation and points of interest match up perfectly to the photo ground textures. 12. [Update] Exclusive: Aerosoft A318/19 Professional Previews Update: After speaking to Aerosoft, they felt that some of the shots (3) we published didn’t represent the product at its finest. We’ve removed those shots and will continue to work with Aerosoft on improving the product. Just another reminder that the unofficial shots were taken during some test flying and not always compliant with normal SOPs. They have been taken to show off some of our time with the aircraft. Today, FSElite is proud to deliver you some exclusive Aerosoft A318 & A319 Beta shots, courtesy of our own testers. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be providing you with our first thoughts, impressions, and stories about the plane. But for now, kick back, relax, and enjoy these shots. Caveat: These shots are part of a product which is in beta testing. There may be things which aren’t quite finished in these shots. 13. Looking forward to this one. ? Milviz Previews Their ATR 72 Virtual Cockpit Perhaps one of flightsim’s most longed for regional airliners, the ATR 72, Milviz announced that they would be taking up the challenge of bringing the aircraft into our sims way back in March of 2017. Since then, it hasn’t been mentioned very much aside from Milviz’s “Flying with the Boss” back in May 2017 and a preview of the external model earlier this year in March (which I just noticed we forgot to report on..oops). Today, we now have a new preview of where all the magic happens; the cockpit! Do bear in mind that the aircraft is still a major work in progress and many things still haven’t been completed, or even started, yet. 14. FSDG Previews Pilots of the Caribbean (Part 2) St. Lucia Flight Sim Development Group, or more commonly known as FSDG, are working towards a 3 part scenery package they appropriately name ‘Pilots of the Caribbean’. Part 2 has been previewed on their Facebook page showcasing 8 images of the close-to-releasing island scenery of St. Lucia. 15. More Milviz SR-71 Blackbird Previews Shared Milviz’s upcoming SR-71 Blackbird has certainly received a lot of love from the community, with many not even knowing the project existed until we shared the first preview of the cockpit. Up until now, we had only gotten a preview of the VC and another of the exterior inflight, but today I am happy to share new previews of the SR-71 in her favorite state; full afterburner! What’s notable about these shots is that they are all in-game AND the materials look to be taking shape, something we haven’t really seen until now and is very exciting! 16. iBlueYonder Pearson Field Previews When iBlueYonder announced Pearson Field back in February, it was met with excitement from the community knowing their track record and reputation for putting out extremely high quality sceneries. Since the announcement, it’s been radio silence regarding the project understandably, until now when we have a new batch of previews to show off at last courtesy of the iBlueYonder Facebook page! You may recall the announcement last month by John Venema regarding Bill Womack rejoining the Orbx team, and all of his prior payware sceneries being brought under the Orbx Direct roof. This should mean that Pearson Field will be available to download and manage via FTX Central, making it extremely easy to install updates and configure the scenery to your heart’s desire. New Drzewiecki Design Seattle Tacoma Previews by John Moore on 26th April 2018 2 comments FSXP3DPreviews facebook Twitter Reddit Those interested in seeing more previews can find them on Drzewiecki’s Seattle Airports product page, and includes even more screenshots of SeaTac as well as some of the Paine passenger terminal and other minor tweaks to the fields. In addition to these provided shots, we also have an early glimpse at the feature list of the airport. The airport will model Seattle Tacoma as it’ll look in 2021 after construction has been completed, extreme optimization with very good performance all terminals and interiors avatar compatible, and 10 different models of SODE jetways. If this interests you, then the full provided feature list can be, of course, found below. An X-Plane version is also planned, but no release date has been given as of yet. 23. Skyline Sim Chicago O’Hare for X-Plane Previews It’s been a busy couple of days for previews of upcoming Chicago O’Hare sceneries, with both Drzewiecki Design and FSDreamTeam having shown off previews yesterday. Now it’s Skyline Sim’s turn, and this time for X-Plane! For those wondering if it will be compatible with Drzeweicki Design’s upcoming Chicago City X scenery, we have some good news for you; it will be! In addition to this, the control tower will feature a spinning radar on top of it and various landmarks such as the AllState arena near the approaches will indeed be modelled for VFR approach aids. Sadly, that was all for now but it will be very nice to have a detailed rendition of O’Hare in X-Plane relatively soon! 24. VSKYLABS Previews Rutan LongEZ Project Developer VSKYLABS has dropped some more information on their Rutan LongEZ project, one of their major releases for 2018. In a post on their Facebook page, the developer gave information on their upcoming home-built performance aircraft for X-Plane 11. Built by aerospace legend Burt Rutan in the 1980’s, the aircraft features superb performance and economy through the use of the Continental O-200/115hp engine. The aircraft promises to have ‘superb flight dynamics and authentic aircraft performance and handling characteristics’. It will also feature the ‘high performance rudder mod’ and ‘Roncz canard’ mod. VSKYLABS expects the aircraft to be released by the end of April 2018. You can read the full details of what is included here. 25. Ilumium Simulation Slovenia X Previews Ilumium Simulation has shared a preview of their upcoming Slovenia X scenery with us. This addon is a complete rendition of the entire country and will be available for both FSX and Prepar3D. This scenery combines custom landclass and vector data, custom landclass textures, custom autogen and landmark models, photo-real inserts and default objects, with the aim of creating an identifiable and unique region, that ‘looks and feels’ Slovenian – and judging by the previews, does an excellent job of this. The team has paid special attention to geographical regions and major cities which have been covered in high detail. Furthermore, the addon provides highly accurate vector data, custom autogen and landmark models, some photo-real areas and custom (landclass) textures for all four seasons. There will be roads, bridges, overpasses, train tracks, viaducts, highway tunnels and much, much more. A full feature list can be found at the end of this post. Slovenia X is still under development, but early access should come out in the following days for the Slovenian virtual flying community according to the developer post. Public release is scheduled for later this year. If you’re really curious about this scenery (we know we are) and don’t quite want to wait for its public release, you can try out the Croatia X Drvenik Islands Demo or give Divaca Airport (LJDI) a try – both sceneries are freeware. Or you can purchase Slovenia West Autogen for €19,50. This last addon is said to give you a small glimpse of what you can expect when Slovenia X releases and customers will only have to pay the price difference between the two sceneries. You can find a small selection of the previews below, but make sure to check out the entire post for all screenshots as there are a lot of them.
