  1. Crosswind landings, good weather and good traffic? That` s something you don` t see everyday. Yesterday a special Airbus A340-500 of Kuwait was expected at Düsseldorf and in addition to that special airplane I also recorded the new Icelandair Boeing 757 arriving to Düsseldorf. One of the highlight was the Airbus A320 of Lauda which performed a go around due to annoying upwinds which didn` t allow the airbus to touch the ground. Also check out the British A321 which did a pretty hard landing. For a second I thought it was a tailstrike. Thanks for watching, new videos every tuesday and friday.SOURCE

With 41 deposits, it was named 7X in November with first flight slipping from late 2004 to early 2005 and certification planned for mid-2006. The cabin is 2.4m (8ft) longer than the 900 and have a lower 6,000ft (1,800m) cabin altitude. the 6,100lb-thrust (21.7kN) PW307A was finally selected, among other risk-sharing partners: Honeywell for avionics architecture, auxiliary power unit, air management system; with Parker Hannifin for the power generation system and wheels brakes; and TRW Aeronautical Systems for the hydromechanical flap and airbrake systems. With over 50 firm orders, it completed its first flight on 5 May in 1h 36min from Bordeaux-Merignac, starting a 1,200h flight test programme over 15 month: it climbed to 10,000ft (3,000m) for hydraulic, fuel, air data and landing gear extraction/retraction systems tests, then climbed to 25,000ft for acceleration/deceleration tests and basic autopilot and autothrottle operations. The first 7X, MSN05, entered service on 15 June 2007. The hundredth was delivered in November 2010. It conducted high altitude airport tests at 14,500 ft in Daocheng in 2014. The Falcon 7X is a three-engined cantilever monoplane with a low-positioned, highly swept wing. It has a horizontal stabiliser at mid-height and a retractable tricycle landing gear, and three rear-mounted Pratt & Whitney PW307A turbofan engines : two on the side of the fuselage and one in a center position, and room for 20 passengers and two crew. Back in the late 1950s, when the Boeing 707 was introduced, the concept was far from established as the norm. Models like this one, a 1/24-scale TWA 707, were made for travel agencies to promote the idea of jet-age airline travel.SOURCE
  11. Boeing 777, don´ t forget! Objects in the mirror are closer, than they appear. It doesn` t matter where you look, at Frankfurt Airport there are heavy planes everywhere! An Airbus A380 of Emirates just arrived from Dubai while a Boeing 777 of Thai got towed to the Terminal after resting at Frankfurt for a few hours but that` s not enaugh. After the Airbus A380 touched down another heavy Airbus A340 appeared out of nowhere and crossed the screen in basic Hifly colours. Right after the Emirates Airbus A380 vacated the runway two more Airbus A380` s moved at the same time and to show you that these three A380 movements happened at the same time I didn` t cut the footage. After the Airbus A380 invasion I included more big planes I filmed at Frankfurt last wednseday. What a fantastic airport!   14. This Airbus A380 of Lufthansa overtook a Boeing 747 of the same company while lifting up for another long haul flight. If you like big and heavy airplanes Frankfurt is the place to be. Within four hours I was able to film 100 heavies last wednesday and it never gets boring at this amazing airport. The Lufthansa Boeing 747 just landed on ruwnay 07R and was on its way to the parking position while its company A380 departed on runway 07C. What a sight to see both competitors in one frame. I love Frankfurt for these kind of video opportunities. You always get amazing motives! I also filmed my first Boeing 787-10 of United which is the second clip in this aviation compilation and the Boeing 787-8 of American was a lovely sight aswell. Suddenly I got an email from Tom on my gmail that he heard I was the guy to see in Vancouver.   22. This Airbus A320 got chased by a follow me car on the runway after landing far away from the centerline due to a crosswind gust. Of course the Apron police was nearby to pull the Airbus A320 over to give the crew a 10$ fine for reckless driving :D. What a fantastic timing of the runway inspection vehicle this day. We had crosswinds up to 8 knots that day (which is basicly nothing) and the Airbus A320 was the only aircraft which did "something special". The Follow me car did its typical runway inspection right after the landing of the turkish Airbus. I filmed a few interesting Airbus planes last week. Check out the Condor Airbus A320 with the Air Transat tail. The aircraft just returned from its winter lease and due to the beginning of the holidays the aircraft operated four flight for Condor in this paint scheme. Besides its own services, and owning subsidiary passenger airlines Austrian Airlines, Swiss International Air Lines, Brussels Airlines, and Eurowings including Germanwings (referred to in English by Lufthansa as its Passenger Airline Group), Deutsche Lufthansa AG owns several aviation-related companies, such as Lufthansa Technik, as part of the Lufthansa Group. In total, the group has over 600 aircraft, making it one of the largest airline fleets in the world. Lufthansa's registered office and corporate headquarters are in Cologne. The main operations base, called Lufthansa Aviation Center, is at Lufthansa's primary hub at Frankfurt Airport, and its secondary hub is at Munich Airport. The Airbus A320 family consists of short- to medium-range, narrow-body, commercial passenger twin-engine jet airliners manufactured by Airbus. The family includes the A318, A319, A320 and A321, as well as the ACJ business jet. The A320s are also named A320ceo (current engine option) after the introduction of the A320neo (new engine option). Final assembly of the family takes place in Toulouse, France, and Hamburg, Germany. A plant in Tianjin, China, has also been producing aircraft for Chinese airlines since 2009, while a final assembly facility in Mobile, Alabama, United States, delivered its first A321 in April 2016. The aircraft family can accommodate up to 236 passengers and has a range of 3,100 to 12,000 km (1,700 to 6,500 nmi), depending on model. The first member of the A320 family—the A320—was launched in March 1984, first flew on 22 February 1987, and was first delivered in March 1988 to launch customer Air France. The family was extended to include the A321 (first delivered 1994), the A319 (1996), and the A318 (2003). The A320 family pioneered the use of digital fly-by-wire flight control systems, as well as side-stick controls, in commercial aircraft. There has been a continuous improvement process since introduction. As of 31 March 2018, a total of 8,074 Airbus A320-family aircraft have been delivered, of which 7,722 are in service. In addition, another 6,083 airliners are on firm order. It ranked as the world's fastest-selling jet airliner family according to records from 2005 to 2007, and as the best-selling single-generation aircraft programme. The A320 family has proved popular with airlines including low-cost carriers such as EasyJet, which purchased A319s and A320s to replace its 737 fleet. As of December 2017, American Airlines was the largest operator of the Airbus A320 family aircraft, operating 392 aircraft. The aircraft family competes directly with the 737 and has competed with the 717, 757, and the MD-80/MD-90.SOURCE
