  1. This was the performance that won the Swedish Air Force pilot and plane the King Hussein Memorial Sword for best overall flying demonstration at the air show. A quick turn at high speed requires enormous 'lift' forces from the wings (ie perpendicular to the wings), and this causes the amazing condensation clouds and vortices over them. The JAS-39C is significantly lighter than most of its type, which is a big advantage when changing direction rapidly.SOURCE
  2. Right after a pretty hard landing of this Boeing 747 of Silk Way a part of the airplane disappeared behind a corn field. Only the tail fin of the Jumbo Jet was visible and that` s why the 747 looked like a shark swimming through a corn field, looking for some Cessnas to stave off its hunger. Also notice the interesting condensation effects right at the beginning of the video. The aircraft passed a cloud and the jetblast of the engines is clearly visible. Between the arrival and the departure of the Silk Way Boeing 747 I drove to Liege to film two more 747` s. I had absolutly no traffic within the first 2 hours and then both Boeing 747`s arrived within 50 seconds causing the red Boeing 747 to block the touchdown view of the second Boeing 747. At least I got a nice clip of the second 747 reversing on the wet runwy. Thank you for watching, new videos every tuesday and friday.SOURCE

  5. We present a bunch of heavy landings, with some rare airlines and some even exclusive to Paris only. The Etihad A340-500 seen here was only 8 years old, but has been stored since 2016 - meaning no more commercial airlines operate these anymore. // Want to see more spotting compilations like this one, as we did back in the days? Comment down below and let us know!! // Let's do the rundown: -Thai Airways Airbus A380 (The oldest Thai A380) -Etihad Airways Airbus A340-500 (now stored) -La Compagnie Boeing 757 (The airline with only 1 route, CDG-JFK) -Camair Co Boeing 767 (Operations to Paris ended a few months later, and the airline now only flies in Africa). -Air Tahiti Nui Airbus A340 (Only flies to CDG and Los Angeles - to be replaced by Boeing 787 in 2019) -Malaysia Airlines Airbus A380 (The airline ended all routes to CDG in 2015) -Qatar Airways Boeing 777 ------------BUSINESS:------------ For business enquiries, use of video content or stock footage contact here: www.facebook.com/pages/Airborne-Cinematics/127125757365112 ©Airborne Cinematics (former Rasmus Productions) #cdg #landings #spottingSOURCE
  6. Some incredible footage of planes doing these crosswind landings and takeoffs during Stormy weather at London Gatwick airport. Impressive skills of the pilots during windy conditions. Im always love to watch biggest passenger airplane Airbus A380 landing , specially her reverse thrust on wet runway. This video once again shows us how well trained pilots and why flying is the most safe transport in the world. Please leave a comment and don't forget to rate it. Thank you ! 8. Watching an Airbus A380 deal with crosswinds is always an incredible sight. Two planes were not able to land immediatly and had to try again after a go around. Wind gusts caused these pilots to abort the landing. This video shows the incredible skills of the pilots. Even when the weather conditions are terrible all pilots managed to land their planes without any complications. This time I tried to show you what it` s like to film at Amsterdam Schiphol by including some clips which were filmed by my second camera. People were watching the planes land and go around at the famous Polderbaan at Amsterdam. At some places the airport is not surrounded by fences. Only a small river seperates the airport termac from the normal area. Especially during the summer season up to 2000 people visit the runway to watch the airplanes land every day. Thanks for watching. new videos every tuesday and friday.SOURCE

  11. The AirClips.com team was exclusively invited to produce a documentation about Helvetic's Fokker 100 farewell flight through the Swiss Alps on June 14th 2019. Witness these historic and emotional moments of Switzerlands last ever Fokker 100 passenger flight after a decade-long history of this airliner in Switzerland beginning with Swissair. Our all-free ULTIMATE COCKPIT MOVIE about this flight (available under https://youtu.be/aQP3tuCDNS4 starting September 2019) starts with sounds and sights of a stunning employee farewell party during the previous evening, to include keynotes of the company's CEO and COO! COO and Commander Simon Schatzmann can be seen in the Captain's seat during this flight while his Captain college Sandra impresses on the controls! As an entirely Swiss Airline, Helvetic Airways offers European destinations in the short and medium-haul sectors. Established in 2003, the airline operates from Zurich and Bern-Belp airports. The Helvetic Airways fleet currently consists of eleven Embraer E190-E1s. The first of 12 new Embraer E190-E2 will be added to the fleet from autumn 2019 onwards. Due to the arrival of the new E2 the airline will run one of Europe’s most advanced regional aircraft fleets in the medium-term future. Up to eight Helvetic aircraft are operated on behalf of Swiss International Air Lines under a long-term wetlease agreement. Helvetic Airways has a workforce which currently numbers some 450 employees, including 70 who are part of the maintenance. The Fokker 100 is a medium-sized, twin-turbofan jet airliner from Fokker, the largest such aircraft built by the company before its bankruptcy in 1996. The type possessed low operational costs and initially had scant competition in the 100-seat short-range regional jet class, contributing to strong sales upon introduction in the late 1980s. However, an increasing number of similar airliners were brought to market by competitors during the 1990s, leading to a substantial decline in both sales and long-term prospects for the 100. Fokker also encountered financial difficulties and was bought up by Deutsche Aerospace AG, which in turn had financial troubles of its own, restricting its ability to support multiple regional airliner programmes. Accordingly, in 1997, production of the Fokker 100 was terminated after 283 airframes had been delivered. By July 2017, a total of 113 Fokker 100 aircraft remained in airline service with 25 airlines around the world. Although airlines are currently retiring the aircraft, there are still large numbers in operation in both Australia and Iran. The F28 Mark 0100 “Fokker 100” is based on the Fokker F28 Mark 4000 re-engined with two Rolls-Royce RB.183 Tay high by-pass ratio turbofans and a fuselage stretched by 18.83 ft (5.74 m). Its wing is wider by 9.8 ft (3.0 m), has new flaps and larger ailerons, and extended leading and trailing edges improve aerodynamics and increase the wing chord. The landing gear is strengthened and has new wheels and brakes, and the horizontal stabilizer is widened by 4.6 ft (1.4 m). Maximum weights are increased while fuel capacity, max speed and ceiling remain the same, passenger capacity went from 85 to 109. The flight deck went digital with a flight management system, an autopilot/flight director including CAT III autoland, thrust management system, electronic flight instrument displays and full ARINC avionics. The new wing was claimed to be 30% more efficient in cruise, while retaining the simplicity of a fixed leading edge. The cockpit was updated with a Rockwell Collins DU-1000 EFIS. Like the Fokker Fellowship, the Fokker 100 retained the twin rear fuselage-mounted engines and T-tail configuration, like the Douglas DC-9 family. It lacks the F28 eyebrow windows above the cockpit. In July 2014, Maarten Van Eeghen, chief executive of NG Aircraft, revealed more details about the pending revival and the new generation of aircraft that would be produced. Dubbed the F120NG, it would be a new-build aircraft, seating a maximum of 125 to 130 passengers, that would be essentially a stretched model of the base Fokker 100. It would adopt a new powerplant, the Pratt & Whitney PurePower PW1X17G turbofan engine rated at 17,600 lb thrust, which is claimed to result in the new generation airliner burning 50 per cent less fuel per seat than the original Fokker 100. It was claimed in 2014 that the earliest entry-to-service date for the F120NG would be 2019, based on a five-year development and testing programme after obtaining official clearance to proceed.SOURCE
  12. Fantastic and Truly unforgettable flying display at Eastbourne Airshow 2019. Kids and adults were so excited ! They are one of the few aerobatic display teams in the world able to offer twilight pyrotechnic air displays. The Fireflies perform in two Van's RV4s. The Van's series of sport aircraft are by a long way, the most successful line of build-it-yourself kit planes on the planet. Well over 9,000 RV's have taken to the skies around the world and the RV4's that the team fly are a development of the original, single seat RV3. Weighing in at an empty weight of approximately 500kg the RV4 is about a third the weight of a VW Golf but it's fitted with a 5.3 Litre 160HP engine giving it performance like a hot-rod. Normal cruising speed is about 160 mph but we don't do normal, so during the display the Fireflies make the most of the entire flight envelope and will be travelling at everything from zero to over 200 mph. 15. Some of you might remember that about 8 years ago, I was on a TV show called "Dragons Den" in Canada, which is the same show as "Shark Tank" in the US. I managed to be the first pitch in the history of the show to get the investment from all 5 Dragons. (meaning they shook my hand on the show, and then I survived Due Diligence and actually received their investment.) Well... There were a lot of hurdles after that, including a 4+ year delay by Health Canada in approving the product due to a massive backlog caused by the legalization of pot in Canada. But that all that said! It's here! available in both the US and Canada! It works awesome, it tastes great and I'm insanely stoked! https://lastcallbeverage.com https://lastcallbeverage.ca https://www.instagram.com/lastcallbeverage/?hl=en https://www.amazon.com/Last-Call-Recovery-Hangover-Prevention/dp/B07P9V6H7Q/ref=sr_1_3?m=A3UR8G49ZVYIL4&amp ;amp;marketplaceID=ATVPDKIKX0DER&qid=1565995719&refresh=1&s=merchant-items&sr=1-3&th=1 Huge shoutout to Savage Sac. 16. This heavily modified french Boeing 707 (KC135) performed a fantastic Touch & Go at Düsseldorf two weeks ago. Within the past 20 years I haven` t seen a singe KC135 at DUS and it was a very unusual vistor. The aircraft was on a training flight and refueled two belgian F16 planes high above Düsseldorf on FL280 for about two hours while flying in circles. After the training was finished the KC135 descended and requested four touch and goes at Düsseldorf. Langen Radar allowed just one of them and I was there to film it. What a unique sight! It` s kinda surreal to see this modified Boeing 707 in between Boeing 737` s and Boeing 757` s of Tuifly and Condor in 2019. Would have loved to listen to the ATC conversation between the TWR and the Tuiflly Boeing 737. "Tuijet73P behind the approaching Boeing 707 Tanker line up runway 23L behind and wait" - "Behind the approching B707 Tan -- Wait ... what ???" Another amazing visitor this week was an upgrade from the usual Airubs A321 to an Airbus A330-300 of Aeroflot. Fantastic looking plane! Thanks for watching new videos every tuesday and friday.SOURCE

  18. Aer Lingus is the flag carrier airline of Ireland and the second-largest airline in Ireland. Founded by the Irish government, it was privatised between 2006 and 2015 and it is now a subsidiary of International Airlines Group (IAG), the parent company of British Airways, Iberia and Vueling. The airline's head office is on the grounds of Dublin Airport in Cloghran, County Dublin, Ireland. Formed in 1936, Aer Lingus is a former member of the Oneworld airline alliance, which it left on 31 March 2007; however, after the takeover by IAG it is expected that Aer Lingus will re-enter Oneworld in the foreseeable future. The airline has codeshares with Oneworld, Star Alliance and SkyTeam members, as well as interline agreements with Etihad Airways, JetBlue Airways and United Airlines. Aer Lingus has a hybrid business model, operating a mixed fare service on its European and North African routes and full service, two-class flights on transatlantic routes. Ryanair used to own over 29% of Aer Lingus stock and the Irish state owned over 25%. These shareholders were lost after IAG bought the airline. The state had previously held an 85% shareholding until the Government's decision to float the company on the Dublin and London Stock Exchanges on 2 October 2006. The principal group companies include Aer Lingus Limited, Aer Lingus Beachey Limited, Aer Lingus (Ireland) Limited and Dirnan Insurance Company Limited, all of which are wholly owned. On 26 May 2015, after months of negotiations on a possible IAG takeover, the Irish government agreed to sell its 25% stake in the company. Ryanair retained a 30% stake in Aer Lingus which it agreed to sell to IAG on 10 July 2015 for €2.55 per share. In August 2015, Aer Lingus' shareholders officially accepted IAG's takeover offer. IAG subsequently assumed control of Aer Lingus on 2 September 2015.SOURCE

  21. Turkish Airlines is the national flag carrier airline of Turkey. As of 2019, it operates scheduled services to 304 destinations in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas, making it the largest carrier in the world by number of passenger destinations (excluding regional brands). It serves more destinations non-stop from a single airport than any other airline in the world. Turkish Airlines flies to 122 countries, more than any other airline. With an operational fleet of 20 cargo aircraft, the airline's cargo division serves 82 destinations. The airline's corporate headquarters are at the Turkish Airlines General Management Building on the grounds of Istanbul Atatürk Airport in Yeşilköy, Bakırköy, Istanbul.Istanbul Airport in Arnavutkoy is the airline's main base, and there are secondary hubs at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport and Ankara Esenboğa International Airport. Turkish Airlines has been a member of the Star Alliance network since 1 April 2008. The Airbus A330 is a medium- to long-range wide-body twin-engine jet airliner made by Airbus. Versions of the A330 have a range of 5,000 to 13,430 kilometres (2,700 to 7,250 nautical miles; 3,110 to 8,350 miles) and can accommodate up to 335 passengers in a two-class layout or carry 70 tonnes (154,000 pounds) of cargo. The A330's origin dates to the mid-1970s as one of several conceived derivatives of Airbus's first airliner, the A300. The A330 was developed in parallel with the four-engine A340, which shared many common airframe components but differed in number of engines. Both airliners incorporated fly-by-wire flight control technology, first introduced on an Airbus aircraft with the A320, as well as the A320's six-display glass cockpit. In June 1987, after receiving orders from various customers, Airbus launched the A330 and A340. The A330 was Airbus's first airliner that offered a choice of three engine types: General Electric CF6, Pratt & Whitney PW4000, and Rolls-Royce Trent 700. The A330-300, the first variant, took its maiden flight in November 1992 and entered passenger service with Air Inter in January 1994. Airbus followed up with the slightly shorter A330-200 variant in 1998. Subsequently-developed A330 variants include a dedicated freighter, the A330-200F, a military tanker, the A330 MRTT, and a corporate jet, ACJ330. The A330 MRTT formed the basis of the proposed KC-45, entered into the US Air Force's KC-X competition with Northrop Grumman, where after an initial win, on appeal lost to Boeing's tanker. Since its launch, the A330 has allowed Airbus to expand market share in wide-body airliners. Competing twinjets include the Boeing 767 and 777, along with the 787. The long-range Airbus A350 XWB was planned to succeed both the A330 and A340. Airbus intends to replace the current A330 (referred to as the A330ceo (current engine option) since 2014) with the A330neo, which includes new engines and other improvements. As of July 2019, A330 orders stand at 1,739, of which 1,463 have been delivered and 1,423 remain in operation. The largest operator is Turkish Airlines with 68 A330s in its fleet.SOURCE
