  1. Source: Helisimmer If you’ve been patiently waiting for it, you’ll be happy to know the Eagle Rotorcraft Simulations Bell 206 v2.1 for FSX and P3D is finally available. ERS has been hard at work to bring a few models up to speed and the veteran 206 (an helicopter a lot of us virtual rotorheads have started their passion for helicopters with) is now out there for grabs. Version 2.1, actually (sorry, folks, we missed the previous one). With this version you can expect to find: 12 models 3D gauges 3D lighting throughout volumetric rotor side effects custom switch sound and warning horns As well as a plethora of other improvements and compatibility with both FSX: Acceleration, FSX: SE and P3D v4.x. Where to get the Eagle Rotorcraft Simulations Bell 206B for FSX and P3D You can download it, for free, at AVSIM. 2. The goal of the ATP-1 project is to provide, for free, a hobbyist level helicopter anti-torque pedal system kit consisting of documentation and 3d printable part files for use with home flight simulation software. Additionally, the design offers the ability to pack a (future) cyclic and collective into the frame for easy travel. One of my first thoughts in designing this pedal system was to retain the action of real life helicopter pedals and also make them adjustable to suit a wide range of preferences. The zip contains all the 3D files, a manual and a video with instructions. 4. When Iain says “final shots”, you know that release is right around the corner. This must mean that release of Orbx’s latest Aerofly FS 2 entry is going to ready very soon. If you don’t know, the next release will be Eagle County Regional Airport, by Jarrad Marshall. The shots below represent what will most likely be the final product, giving you insight into the amount of detail Aerofly FS 2 will allow developers to cram in. We anticipate release will happen in the next day or so, and when it’s available, we shall let you know. For now, check out the Orbx forums for continued updates. 5. Orbx Announces Eagle County Colorado for IPACS Aerofly FS2 With wanting to surprise everyone, John from Orbx conveniently left off the next Aerofly FS2 release from his gigantic 2018 roadmap post.
