X-Plane 11.30 Is Final It’s out the door! (Steam should go “final” tomorrow morning, but you can get the final now – it’s still marked as a “beta”.) Here’s everything that happened. I expect we’ll do an 11.31 bug fix patch in the next week or two – 11.30 release candidate three was just critical fixes, e.g. fixing crashes on startup for Nvidia users with Windows 10 and the moon and stars aligned just right. Some less super-critical bugs are fixed and waiting for the bug fix patch. SOURCE INFO DEVELOPER POST LINK : https://developer.x-plane.com/blog/ NEWS SITE ARTICLE LINK :
FSDG Bremen In Final Stages It’s been pretty quiet around this project, with the last update dating back to January of this year. Lucky enough, developer ‘Jetman’ made a surprise announcement over on FSDeveloper with more previews of FSDG’s upcoming Bremen (EDDW) scenery. Together with the previews, he also announced the project is now in its final stages, with the final tasks remaining the rendering of the night textures, some seasonal fittings, animations (including SODE) and fixing some errors. The screenshots show especially the surroundings of the airport in great detail. Something the developer spent a lot of time and attention on as he is apparently a local to this area. The long awaited 737 Ultimate project is nearing release. Press and painters will receive an early access release this saturday. In case you haven't heard of this project before: The 737 Ultimate project is another mod for X-Plane 11's default 737, like the quite excellent Zibo mod and FMOD. While Zibo mod adds a detailed systems simulation, FMOD adds better sounds and the 737 Ultimate will add the -700 and -900 variants among other neat things. The good news is that you won't have to choose between these mods. The 737 Ultimate will be fully compatible with the existing Zibo mod and FMOD. In fact, both Zibo and AudioBirdXP are on the development team. So what does the 737 Ultimate project bring to the table? Ground equipment suite Adjustable scimitar 3d HUD 3d passengers Chart system Connection with better pushback plugin Connection with default pushback Custom outside textures Custom cockpit textures ( maybe in later release) Full zibomod compatibility On launch -700 -800 -900 we will add more variants after and make the tablet 3d Switchable outside led lights Control of cabin brightness and color lights Exciting times ahead! When Iain says “final shots”, you know that release is right around the corner. This must mean that release of Orbx’s latest Aerofly FS 2 entry is going to ready very soon. If you don’t know, the next release will be Eagle County Regional Airport, by Jarrad Marshall. The shots below represent what will most likely be the final product, giving you insight into the amount of detail Aerofly FS 2 will allow developers to cram in. We anticipate release will happen in the next day or so, and when it’s available, we shall let you know. For now, check out the Orbx forums for continued updates.
