  2. A brief update from FSDreamTeam today gave a quick teaser about how PBR will impact the look of the jetways from GSX Level 2. The Juxtaxpose image below showcases the difference. The most standout feature is certainly from how the glass reflects the light back and the colouring of it. In the Facebook post from FSDreamTeam, they’re looking to update “most objects in the GSX library” to make use of the new PBR technology. If we hear anymore, we’ll let you know. 3. FSDreamTeam continue to update their original version of GSX for users. Today, the latest update includes a much requested feature of refueling whilst other processes are going on. Just like in the real world, you can now simulate the refueling process whilst other events are taking place such as boarding/deboarding and catering. Further to that, there is now support for the Leonardo Maddog X and also some additional jetway logos too. A few other bug fixes have been patched in too. You should be prompted to update upon starting the sim, otherwise, you can update via the FSDT Live Updater system from your desktop. Full change log: NEW: Airport Elevation can be overridden in the Scenery Customzation page. The small “airplane” button will read altitude from the sim automatically. This should prevent any altitude problems caused by Altitude-Correcton .BGLs NEW: Allow support for simultaneous Refueling, Catering and Boarding/Deboarding. NEW: Internal support for Leonardo Maddog X NEW: Added Intercargo and CPH Airport operators. Added AKBANK jetway logo. Bugfix: Pushback will ignore custom pushback nodes if they don’t match an existing AFCAD node. Bugfix: Fix Catering stuck when the airplane has no front door. Bugfix: Jetways no longer docking again when preparing for Pushback. SOURCE INFO DEVELOPER POST LINK : NEWS SITE ARTICLE LINK : https://fselite.net/news/new-gsx-update-available-to-download/
  4. FSDreamTeam Issue GSX Level 2 Update to Fix Blurry Texture Bug by Calum Martin on 16th September 2018 20 comments FSXNewsP3D facebook Twitter Reddit The release of GSX Level 2 last week has seen the flight sim community take plenty of screenshots of their new in-sim avatars walk along the apron into the virtual buses or down the SODE jetway to be greeted by the new cabin crew. However, the software itself had been reported by a fair few forum users about how their sim become a bit of a blurry mess after installing GSX Level 2. Although originally dismissed by the developer as they couldn’t recreate it, after more proof was submitted by the community, FSDreamTeam were able to investigate the issues more thoroughly. With this in mind, the team were quick to release a statement and a fix via their FSDT Live Updater tool. In their statement on Facebook, the team said: “We found the cause for blurred textures when using GSX Level 2 with many scenery add-ons installed (especially global vector/landclass), and it was caused by a bug.” They continued by saying that users should use the FSDT Live Updater to install the new fix to ensure it no longer impacts their simulator. You can buy GSX Level 2 now from their store for $29.00. Don’t forget, you’ll need to already own the original GSX for GSX Level 2 to function. We’ll shortly be publishing a review of GSX Level 2, so stay tuned to FSElite for that. You can watch our first look video above in the mean time. 5. [UPDATE] GSX Level 2 Accidentally Released A Day Early, Withdrawn From Sale UPDATE 0950z: Early adopters are reporting that simMarket is having issues serving the install file. Be aware that even after you purchase, you may not be able to download the installer. We’ll keep you posted. UPDATE 0953z: And now the Buy Now button has disappeared. This may have been a false start by simMarket – we’ll make some inquiries. UPDATE 1000z: FSDreamTeam has confirmed in a post on their forum that the product was made available by mistake, but have no fear, you will be able to get your hands on this tomorrow. Anyone who managed to already purchase prior to the product being pulled will have their purchases remain valid. Original post follows; First announced at FSExpo earlier this year, FSDreamTeam’s GSX Level 2 is now available. GSX Level 2 is an expansion pack to the base GSX add-on for Flight Simulator X and Prepar3D. Where the base addon will add ground services to your airports, GSX Level 2 takes this a step further by providing a greater level of immersion with animated pax and flight crew boarding and de-boarding your flights, as well as the ability to add SODE jetways to any airport. Check out the FSElite First Look (above) that we posted to our YouTube account just a couple of days ago to see how incredible this add-on really is. GSX Level 2 is available now from simMarket for EUR 27.00. Note that this purchase is an upgrade, and you must also own the base GSX add-on (available here for EUR 34.00). 6. GSX Level 2 Possible Release Date and Additional Expansions GSX Level 2 is an expansion pack coming to the popular GSX add-on by developer FSDreamTeam. Announced back at FSExpo 2018, the new expansion pack will bring fully animated 3D passengers to our simulators. Furthermore, the expansion will turn every non-SODE jetway within the sim, to be compatible with the popular in-sim engine. This means, jetways will dock accurately to your aircraft, enable more information to be displayed on them and the option to have dual jetways attached to your aircraft. This means every airport, regardless of how it was developed, will be compatible with GSX Level 2. http://www.fsdreamteam.com/forum/index.php/topic,17940.msg125997.html#msg125997 https://fselite.net/news/gsx-level-2-possible-release-date-and-additional-expansions/
