  3. Among all the small Pacific Northwest airports that are loaded with character, Pearson Field stands out. For one thing, it predates them all; KVUO is officially the oldest continuously operating airport in the region, and one of the two oldest operational fields in the USA. Even before the dawn of aviation the site was a hub of activity, as evidenced by the 19th-century Hudson's Bay Company fort and trading post just off the threshold of runway 8. So far, the tiny airport has hosted the first crossing of the Columbia River by airship in 1905, been a stopover on the US Army's first round-the-world flight, and made Russian aviation history as the landing spot for the Chkalov Trans-Polar Flight in 1937. KVUO Pearson Field for X-Plane will be available to purchase from OrbxDirect for AUD $32.95 (approx. USD $24.35 / €21 / £18.60 ) SOURCE INFO DEVELOPER POST LINK : https://orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/157642-kvuo-pearson-field-is-coming-to-x-plane/ NEWS SITE ARTICLE LINK : https://www.thresholdx.net/news/obkvuo
  4. iBlueYonder Pearson Field Previews When iBlueYonder announced Pearson Field back in February, it was met with excitement from the community knowing their track record and reputation for putting out extremely high quality sceneries. Since the announcement, it’s been radio silence regarding the project understandably, until now when we have a new batch of previews to show off at last courtesy of the iBlueYonder Facebook page! You may recall the announcement last month by John Venema regarding Bill Womack rejoining the Orbx team, and all of his prior payware sceneries being brought under the Orbx Direct roof. This should mean that Pearson Field will be available to download and manage via FTX Central, making it extremely easy to install updates and configure the scenery to your heart’s desire. 5. From Facebook: When we say Pearson Field is historic, we're not just talking about something you read in the manual. The history is real here, and it's all over the field! By the time it's finished, you'll be able to take a whole tour and learn all about it. The P3D avatar guy might become your favorite new plane. ;-) SOURCE INFO DEVELOPER POST LINK : https://www.facebook.com/IBlueYonder/posts/1712519918807344 NEWS SITE ARTICLE LINK :
