  1. Additional Aerosoft A330 Professional Cockpit Previews It was stated that the images are currently designed with P3D v4.2 standards, but that PBR layers still have to be added in the future. Furthermore, it was confirmed that that the third MCDU will be used as a ‘settings’ MCDU. Going forward, we’ll make sure that any additional previews from Aerosoft regarding the A330 Professional presents new details or shows off a new feature. Further to the in-sim previews of just a few days ago, Aerosoft has released a few additional previews of the cockpit. Whilst we have seen many of these types of previews from them before, there was an additional bit of news that came with the forum post. 2. The VC10 is widely regarded as one of the most graceful jet airliners ever created, with its long slim fuselage, clean angled-back wings and graceful swept-back tail surfaces. The aircraft was designed by Vickers-Armstrongs to fly on long-distance BOAC routes between the UK and Africa and needed to be able to operate from hot and high airports with short runways. This resulted in an aircraft with superb performance, second only to the supersonic Concorde in terms of speed for a jet airliner. The VC10 was introduced into RAF service in 1965, operating in the transport, cargo and in-flight refuelling roles, until its retirement in 2013, nearly 50 years later.VC10 Professional for FSX and P3D includes accurately modelled Standard and Super civilian variants and C1K, K3 and K4 military variants of the VC10 in a variety of liveries covering their time in airline and RAF service. The detailed virtual cockpit features 3D instruments, authentic wear and tear and all four flight crew positions (Captain, Co-Pilot, Flight Engineer and Navigator) modelled in high detail.Comprehensive but easy-to-use systems are simulated, including a realistic fuel system with transfer and jettison functionality, an autopilot with pitch and bank hold, an autothrottle with IAS and MACH hold capabilities and simulated powered flying control units (PFCUs).Realistic engine start procedures are possible with ground air supply and cross-bleed, and autostart (Ctrl+E) compatibility allows you to get airborne quickly. Custom-coded electrical, fuel, hydraulic, pressurisation and navigation systems, including a new Delco Carousel IV-A Inertial Navigation System (INS) unit, will keep even experienced pilots busy! The VC10 is brought to life with distinctive Rolls-Royce Conway engine sounds and accurate flight dynamics based on input from ex-VC10 crew and real-world performance and handling data. 3. Kevin I'm staying loyal to Chaseplane. God the music in the video is awful.😊 In a forum post, The EZDok development team has published a ‘soft release’ of their new and improved EZdok Camera Professional v3 for FSX and Prepar3D v4. 4. JustFlight has just announced that they’re working on the British made BAe 146 family for P3D and FSX. The BAe 146 Professional will be an accurately modelled version of the British made aircraft and include the 100, 200 and 300 models. Well known to spotters and enthusiasts, the 146 became iconic for its four engines and high T-tail first taking flight in 1981. In the description of the project, released on their website yesterday, JustFlight stated that ‘the exterior models will be stunningly detailed.’ In addition to this, all models will a fully functional thrust management system (TMS) and ‘authentic navigation equipment.’ The development will come as great news to 146 fans as they will now be able to enjoy a new highly detailed rendition of the aircraft making use of brand new P3D v4 features such as PBR rendering. Alongside this, the developers promise ‘a truly 3D cockpit’ with 4096×4096 textures for ‘the highest possible texture clarity.’ The product will also include the welcome additions of a comprehensive manual with panel guide and performance data with a PSD paint kit for custom liveries. 8. Bill Womack, who needs no introduction, has put up an offer you may not be able to refuse - if you're interested in learning professional scenery development and make a pretty penny in the future. All you need to know is that if you do get accepted, you'll be tutored by one of the biggest names in flight simulation. Here's a little teaser (click on the link below for the full write-up): Back in the day, many trades had a tradition of apprenticeship. Those with a desire to learn a skill were paired with experienced craftspeople. The apprentice got to learn a trade first-hand, and the person they were apprenticed to got an eager helper to speed along projects in return. For the right kind of learner, it was an ideal system. These days, apprenticeships are rare, but I got to thinking recently about how much I’d like to have a personally-trained assistant or three who would trade their work for learning the ins and outs of scenery design first-hand. Why not give it a go? SOURCE INFO DEVELOPER POST LINK : https://www.facebook.com/notes/iblueyonder/scenery-apprentice-wanted/2019098258149507/ NEWS SITE ARTICLE LINK :

  10. Aerosoft Preview A330 Professional in Lufthansa Livery While many were pleased to see the Aersoft A330 Professioal being shown off, some were less than thrilled seeing it in the same DragonAir livery nearly every time it was shown off, and quite understandably so. That changes today with a “small Friday update” from Aerosoft developer Stefan Hoffmann, where he shows off his current work on the Lufthansa-skinned A330! 11. FlyJSim Updates 727 Series Professional V3 SOURCE INFO Despite releasing an excellent aircraft last month, developers FlyJSim has updated their 727 Series Professional 3 with a range of fixes and general improvements for the user. The primary focus area of this update are on mach hold and tape movements, the leading edge flaps not deploying when using the alternate flap and visuals on the aft cargo door. Further to general fixes, the team have added a brand new maintenance system for the tires. If you’re a pilot that likes to land firm, you may need to rethink your style as if you land too hard or heavy, prepare to pop a tire or collapse your gear (and have a meeting with tea no biscuits with your manager). There’s a nice range of improvements in the free update from the team, so waste time no more and download the update to the plane we enjoyed very much. You will need to grab the Skunkcrafts updater to download and apply update 3.1809.1125 to your 727 Series Professional V3. Here’s the full change log courtesy of their Facebook post. https://fselite.net/news/flyjsim-updates-727-series-professional-v3/
  12. After a long wait and many delays, Aerosoft has released the A320/A321 Professional for Prepar3D v4.3. The new release is a complete overhaul of the previous Airbus A320/A321 that was released for FSX and earlier Prepar3D versions a number of years ago. While the product has been completely re-written, Aerosoft say that the same basic idea of the product remains – an aircraft where simulation of flying is the primary goal, with aircraft systems being secondary to be used as tools only. Keen Airbus fans will have no doubt purchased the A318/A319 package that was released a couple of months ago, and anyone who bought these in the A320 Family Professional bundle will now have the ability to download and install the A320/A321. The bad news for these purchasers is that the eagerly awaited Connected Flight Deck v2 is still not yet implemented, with the aim for this feature’s introduction still set for the SP1 update. The feature list for an aircraft like this is simply just too large to summarise, so click through to the full article to see the complete list. Head to the Aerosoft store to pick up the A320/A321 for $60.99, or grab the A320 Family Professional bundle for $80.99. 13. In a move that surprised exactly nobody, Aerosoft decided to delay their upcoming A320/A321 Professional again. The scheduled release is now set for Monday, September 10th instead of the previously announced September 6th. The reason for this delay was given by Mathijs Kok. According to his statement, there are some things that he still wants to include and the adjustments to the shop software need to be verified. He didn’t go in to further detail about what he still wants to include. Whether the aircraft will actually release on Monday still remains to be seen, as Aerosoft has a bit of a history delaying this project that was originally slated for August 2017. But, until Aerosoft decides to release it, at least we have this nice preview to look at. 14. If things still go according to plan, we are 3 days away from the release of the Aerosoft A320/321 Professional for Prepar3D V4. After months of updates, release date changes and development, the team are preparing to release the aircraft. To help build up interest in the product, seasoned Aerosoft trailer producer Jeroen Doorman has provided us with a brand new promotional trailer showcasing off the aircraft. The 3 minute trailer will showcase some of the new features added to the aircraft, the changes to the interior modelling and more. As said, the current plan is to release on September 6th. 20. FSFX Packages Airbus Professional Statement SOURCE INFO Ever since the release of the Aerosoft Airbus Professional, and even way before that, many have been wondering if FSFX Packages’ A320 Immersion package would be compatible with the new product, and now we know. In the blog post on the FSFX website, it was revealed that the package is not compatible with the new version and it’s not as straightforward of a port as many think due to the changed systems behind the scenes. The team further elaborated that it is very unlikely that we’ll see an update for the product until early 2019, and it will be a paid update (with discounts) when it does release. As a close, and to end on a high note, FSFX teased that they have “some cool thing coming in October!”, whatever that may be! That’s all for now sadly, until next time! https://fsfxpackages.com/en/blog/2018/07/14/statement-about-aerosofts-new-a318-a319-professional/https://fsfxpackages.com/en/blog/2018/07/14/statement-about-aerosofts-new-a318-a319-professional/ https://fselite.net/news/fsfx-packages-airbus-professional-statement/
  21. [Update] Exclusive: Aerosoft A318/19 Professional Previews Update: After speaking to Aerosoft, they felt that some of the shots (3) we published didn’t represent the product at its finest. We’ve removed those shots and will continue to work with Aerosoft on improving the product. Just another reminder that the unofficial shots were taken during some test flying and not always compliant with normal SOPs. They have been taken to show off some of our time with the aircraft. Today, FSElite is proud to deliver you some exclusive Aerosoft A318 & A319 Beta shots, courtesy of our own testers. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be providing you with our first thoughts, impressions, and stories about the plane. But for now, kick back, relax, and enjoy these shots. Caveat: These shots are part of a product which is in beta testing. There may be things which aren’t quite finished in these shots. 22. Aerosoft Airbus A318/319 Professional Series to Release In June Usually, the updates from Aerosoft regarding the Airbus Professional series contain some brand new screenshots or an update on development progress. However, what is usually missing is a timeframe of when we can expect the series of planes to be released. It’s been known for a while now that Aerosoft have a release system in mind once the first of the packs hit, but what wasn’t known is when the first of those would be released. Today, Mathijs confirmed that the release date for the Airbus A318/319 Professional series is due to be on June 26th. In his post on the Aerosoft forums, he describes how the meeting today was both full of good news and not so good news. The good news is that the propulsion system is progressing fine, with just smaller details now being worked on. Further good news is that there are some brand new voices for the checklist and smaller details like cockpit lighting is now complete. On the flip side, the MCDU, the FMS and AP still have some issues to resolve. Mathijs described the MCDU as “the most complex bit of code” that the team have ever done, so testing has been slower than expected. However, he did say that this will be the most advanced Airbus MCDU currently available in the sim. A new preview topic will be started this week with information on final pricing, updated box information, manuals and more.
