  1. Developers RealWorld Scenery has released their third and final part to their Ultimate VFR New York State package. The purpose of the software is to inject photo-real ground textures with accurately placed trees and structures to make a more realistic version of the area within the simulator. The product also contains snow textures during winter and accurately placed and sized night lighting. Furthermore, the default airports in the area covered by the package has been re-worked a little to include better blending to the ground imagery injected by Ultimate VFR New York State. The 16.7GB package works for FSX and Prepar3D 1 -4, but has been designed to work best with the latest version of Prepar3D. No coverage map has been provided, so it’s hard for us to accurately say which areas this package does contain. However, you can see Part 1 and Part 2 on simMarket which has coverage maps. It should be noted that you don’t need both, as they work as separate packages just fine. You can buy Ultimate VFR New York State Part 3 from simMarket for €8.00. 2. Vertical Simulations have released new previews of their upcoming Corpus Christi airport for X-Plane 11. According to a post on their facebook page, the scenery is close to release, with just a few items left to complete. The screenshots mainly highlight progress made to the outer reaches of the airport, and the covered parking deck outside of the main terminal entrance. No word yet on a release date for the airport, though Vertical Simulations have stated that the scenery will cost $10 USD when released. Main features of the airport include full autogate support, full ground traffic, taxi routes for WT3 and X-Life, alongside 3D grass and PBR materials. 7. No sooner than it was announced, JustSim has released their Dalaman Airport (LTBS) for Prepar3D V4. The Turkish airport sees numerous airlines fly from across the world into the area. Focusing mostly on leisure routes, the likes of easyJet, Turkish Airlines and Thomas Cook all frequent the airport. No official feature list has been attached to the product page on simMarket, but we do know that it does contain PBR texturing. If any of their past projects is anything to go by, then we can also expect high definition texture work, plenty of static objects scattered around the airport and aerial imagery. No word on whether there are SODE jetways already included for the initial release. We have seen before that they release updates a couple of weeks afterwards to include them. We do know, however, that the airport is also due to release on X-Plane 11 in the near future. You can buy Dalaman Airport (LTBS) from simMarket now for €18.70. 9. VSkyLabs Releases Revolution Mini-500 Helicopter By: Sam Clark January 20, 2019 VSkyLabs, experimental aircraft experts, have released their latest project for X-Plane 11.30. The Revolution Mini-500 is an American single-seater chopper and is unique in that the owner must construct the aircraft from a kit-set before flying it. This is VSkyLabs' second successive helicopter release following the Guimbal Cabri G2 in September. The new Mini-500 utilizes X-Plane 11.30's experimental flight model and features highly realistic flight dynamics as a result. ‍ ‍ VSkyLabs have provided a feature list for the helicopter, which you can see here: VSKYLABS 'Test-Pilot' Project. Highly defined flight dynamics model of the Revolution Mini-500. Built around the powerful, native X-Plane 11.30+ 'Experimental Flight Model' environment (must be selected in the General settings window in X-Plane 11). Fully functional VR (Virtual Reality) compatibility. Multi-Layer FMOD sound pack. Unique aspects of the Mini-500 helicopter are simulated and are part of the flying experience by definition: Manual engine/rotor RPM management, low rotor-inertia aspects, in-flight nose tuck during engine-stop, rotor RPM management, retreating blade stall condition (Vne), typical Mast bumping, typical autorotation capability and more. The VSKYLABS Test-Pilot: Mini-500 is designed as if it was a real kit-built helicopter, awaiting for it's first test-flight. Was it built exactly as instructed? Will it fly as expected? wow there is only one way to find out! You will have to get to know it step by step...or you might get yourself into serious trouble when mistreating it. Mastering the VSKYLABS Mini-500 will sure make you a better helicopter pilot! The original pilot's manual was one of the core-materials during development of this project, and the VSKYLABS Mini-500 pilot's manual is built based on it. The project is under constant development. Highly responsive VSKYLABS support forums. ‍ You can purchase the VSkyLabs Test Pilot: Mini-500 for $26.50 on the X-Plane.org store.
