  4. Quito (SEQM) Announced by Flightbeam Studios Flightbeam Studios just posted a Facebook update to inform the community that, in conjunction with Dreamflight, they’re almost ready to release SEQM airport, in Quito, Ecuador! This unique airport is located at an elevation of 7,874 feet, and as the busiest airport in Ecuador, will offer you many interesting new routes (and for me, it’s another great reason to explore Orbx’s OpenLC South America). American, Delta, JetBlue, Joon, KLM, and United are the airlines based outside of South America that service the airport, and it’s also a relatively busy cargo hub, as it receives flights from Atlas, Cargolux, Etihad Cargo, Emirates SkyCargo, FedEx, KLM Cargo, and UPS. As the runway is over 13,000 feet long, it’s quite accommodating. Dreamflight is developing the airport, as an exclusive product for, and using the branding of, Flightbeam. Flightbeam is continuing work on their other projects, including Wellington, Auckland, and InsectFlow. No exact release date was given, but they say it’s ‘coming soon’ – so we hope to hear more about it very shortly! Stay tuned to FSElite for more and you can also follow the developer’s Facebook page as well. 5. MK-Studios released a fantastic rendition of Lisbon only a few weeks ago and have actively updated the airport to a higher standard since. We can exclusively reveal today that version 1.2 is in the works and addresses some of the feedback sent to the developer. Namely ground satellite imagery improvements and also huge improvements to the auto-gen. The previews below showcase the improvements which will be found in the 1.2 update (which will be free for all users). Lisbon continues to be a popular airport for simmers so it’s fantastic to see MK-Studios continue to develop and maintain the airport even post-release. 10. MK-Studios Release New Lisbon Previews MK-Studios has given us more photos of their upcoming scenery, Lisbon, over on their Facebook page. These shots show off some of the texturing and gpoly work that has been done by MK-Studios. Based on the shots given, the scenery looks to have very high-quality textures. They have also gone with the approach of the wear and tear look as well based on the tire marks, cracks, and rubber smears on the runways and taxiways. Two of the shots in the post were of the highly detailed Ponte 25 de Abril and the Vasco da Gama bridges, showing how much effort has gone into this product. 13. Stick and Rudder Studios Delighting The FlightSim Community Dear Flight Sim Enthusiast, You are receiving this email because you indicated you were interested in new products from Stick and Rudder Studios. I'm considering developing a new hardware product which would be a generic flight simulator panel to control the auto pilot, COM and NAV frequencies, GPS, and Transponder. I'm not sure what the market demand for such a product would be so I would like to invite you to review the concept at: https://www.stickandrudderstudios.com/generic-simulator-panel/ and provide me with some needed feedback on the idea. The page contains photos, back ground on the concept, and a live 3D model that you can explore. There is also a very brief five question anonymous survey which will help me decide if I should proceed with the effort. Your input, positive or negative would be greatly appreciated. If you would like to provide a more personal response you can email me at Mark@StickandRudderStudios.com I would like to thank all of you for your continued support of Stick and Rudder Studios. 16. Flightbeam Studios Delays Auckland Airport by Calum Martin on 5th March 2018 add comment FSXNewsP3D facebook Twitter Reddit Flightbeam Studios has delivered both good news and bad news. Starting with the bad news, Flightbeam Studios confirmed that their previously announced Auckland International Airport (NZAA) will be delayed. This is because the site survey hasn’t taken place yet to ensure that the team can get the best quality that the airport deserves. During this time, the airport has gone through some major changes and construction work, which would have meant that a proper survey couldn’t be achieved to the standards Flightbeam would want to do. Whilst this information was known to the developers back in late 2017, there is some good news to this story.
