  2. A rather small update to an older scenery, Drzewiecki Design’s EPKK Krakow has been updated to v1.4. Changes include removed demolished buildings, inserted new constructed buildings, upgraded apron light lighting, and more. While this may not be the biggest update, Drzewiecki did acknowledge that while some areas, like ground markings, weren’t updated, v1.4 is an important step towards any potential updates in the future. V1.4 can be had for free (provided you already own the product, obviously) and the demo has been updated as well to reflect the new changes. 5. Recently we reported on the release of Digital Replica‘s debut aircraft for X-Plane, the Cessna 310L. The aircraft, which retails for $24.95, was well received by early adopters. The one thing that seemed to be a downfall for most though, was the absence of custom and/or FMOD sounds for the aircraft. Since then, the aircraft has seen an update to version 1.05, which bought with it a handful of fixes, additional customisation options, and a new KING64 DME. Less than a week later it was updated once again to v1.0.6. This update included a couple of fixes to textures and lighting, but the big addition was the custom FMOD sounds that early purchasers had been asking for. For both changelogs, see the end of this post. Digital Replica’s Cessna 310L is available from X-Aviation, with the price remaining $24.95. Changelog to v1.0.5 New KING64 DME Corrected function of the Davtron 902A DVOR (Display next to VOR/ILS) Windshield reflects can be turn off by clicking the windshield, and instruments reflects [sic] can be turn off by clicking any of the six pack instuments [sic] (artificial horizon, altimeter, etc.) Autopilot NAV 1/2 switch out of range when G430 is set in GPS mode. Model Fixes Texture fixes Manipulators fixes Changelog v1.0.5 -> 1.0.6 FMOD custom sounds now implemented Texture fixes Initial condition of the exterior lights fixed SOURCE INFO DEVELOPER POST LINK : http://www.x-aviation.com/catalog/product_info.php/cessna-310l-p-154 NEWS SITE ARTICLE LINK : https://fselite.net/news/digital-replica-cessna-310l-updated-gets-fmod-sounds/
  6. RealAir Simulations, makers of some of the most iconic GA aircraft on the FSX/P3D platform, has updated a majority of the aircraft range to support P3D version 4.x despite ceasing to trade at the tail-end of 2016. The now-defunct developer has quietly snuck out updates to their Duke B60, Turbine Duke and Lancair Legacy products, with the Spitfire, Scout and SF260 all promised to be coming soon, too. These updates, being made available to existing customers via the company website, carry no changelogs, though they do list now being compatible with P3D v4. While this may be a point of celebration for fans of the RealAir products, it’s worth noting that the website still carries the message regarding the company shut down from 2016, seemingly quashing any hopes of a return. FSElite has reached out to Sean from RealAir for comment regarding a possible return, and we’ll update this post if and when we hear back from him. For now, fans of these products can enjoy them in 64-bit, and hopefully for many more years to come. 7. Updated product:Milviz MD530 Hi Stephen, You are receiving this email because you're on file as having purchased the MD530 directly from our store. This is an update [180709] that addresses trim issues, adds a Force Trim option for the 530 and fixes the missing wirecutters in P3D. (It has also been made available on the support forum). From our lead systems engineer: "To use the new force trim option use the AMS and click on the new "Controls" section for the 530, and assign a key or button to the force trim trigger. When you are in the cockpit, you must enable the force trim by using the two previously unused switches labelled OVSPD TEST and FAULT TEST. (picture below.) The one on the left turns on the force trim system when in the Up position. The one on the right enables the force trim to work with the rudder too when UP. With a key assigned in AMS and both switches up, a press on the force trim button will make the current cyclic and rudder petal settings the new center point. Thus as soon as you press force trim, return the joystick (and rudder if you have that switch up) to the neutral position. The helicopter should retain its current trim. You can use force trim as often as you'd like. In case you are unfamiliar with it: Force Trim is not an autopilot! Be sure the helicopter is in a stable condition when you push the button. If it's rotating or banking, you'll simply lock in that trend and have to fight it. (This is how it really works, it takes some getting used to.) This can take a great deal of the work out of flying. The real MD530 did not have a force trim, we're adding it as a optional "quality of life" enhancement. ~ Dutch" Your continued support and loyalty is greatly appreciated. All the best,Oisin LittleProduction ManagerMilitary Visualizations77 Mont-Royal West, Suite 402Montreal, QCCanadaH2T2S5 SOURCE INFOwww.milviz.com DEVELOPER POST LINK : www.milviz.com NEWS SITE ARTICLE LINK : www.milviz.com

  14. AFM M20 Collection Updated AFM (Advanced Flight Modeling) has released version 3.0.0 of their M20 Collection. With this update, the plane has officially left its early access state. The devs make clear that they will still bring updates to the aircraft, but feel confident enough to not consider it as early access anymore. The 3.0.0 update is mainly focussed on immersion, according to the developers, and comes with several changes to do so. This update requires a complete reinstall of the product. A quick guide to do so can be found in their announcement post. The M20 Collection requires X-Plane 11.20 or later, and can be bought from the AFM Store. 18. The famous addon FSPassengers is finally getting some fresh news from its lonely developer. It has been a hard work for him to rewrite the whole program to 64 bit compatibility, but he is getting there eventually, an ETA is between september and Christmas. FSPassengers have been available for FSX and 32 bit P3D since a whole lot of time, and a great companion for any passenger flight, bringing an ambiance aboard your plane with passengers sound as soon as boarding till leaving the plane (they will react to bad treatments😁), jokes from the navigating personnel, some stuff to do during long flights (you choose meal servicing/ film choices), other small things like very effective shortcuts for autopilot/ radios, a carrier mode way before any other competitor actually too, etc... My only regret is the time it took SOURCE INFO DEVELOPER POST LINK : http://www.fspassengers.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=18097&pid=165757#pid165757
