  1. Flight1 Updates FS Effects (FS Stall Effects) Over on their Facebook page, Flight One Software has announced that an update to their FS Effects utility has been released. This update also brings a name revision, FS Effects was previously named FS Stall Effects. FS Effects is a unique and highly-configurable add-on utility for FSX/SE and Prepar3D v3-4 which realistically enhances your virtual flight experience. The add-on utility has received an update to version 1.02 which adds more controls to tweak and edit your aircraft’s flight characteristics. This update introduces throttle response tweaking, engine start-up time tweaking and a battery life extension which allows you to increase the length of time your aircrafts’ battery will last for before the engine gets to juice it up which is unrealistic for some aircraft. The interface allows you to select an aircraft from your library and make adjustments to the characteristics listed at the end of this article. 2. Milviz Updates PA-30 Twin Comanche MilViz has received overwhelmingly positive feedback on their PA-30 Twin Comanche although, there was just one piece missing from the aircraft for users who are ‘not so old school’ which made it feel incomplete, an autopilot. MilViz has updated their PA-30 with their own custom coded, highly detailed KAP 140 autopilot system. They have carefully replicated the logic used in the real KAP 140 autopilot system in their in-sim rendition for the PA-30. Their manual has been revised with an autopilot overview and in-depth set of instructions, you can view it here from page 20-32. You can enable the KAP 140 autopilot through the MVAMS application. The autopilot is not the only addition to version 181102, MilViz has also added two Bendix-King instruments and texture updates, you can view the full changelog at the end of this article. You can grab a hold of this update over on the MilViz website here. MilViz KAP 140 Autopilot If you don’t already own the PA-30 Twin Comanche, you can grab a hold of it at the MilViz website for $39.99 (Incl. VAT). The aircraft is only compatible with FSX and Prepar3D v2-4. Changelog Copy/pasted the newest files for the P3Dv4.3 ..\PanelCfgs folder. Added revised manual to include 16 new pages on the autopilot operations. Installed KAP140 Autopilot. Installed Bendix-King Attitude Indicator. Installed Bendix-King HSI. Added Text Labels for NAV1/NAV2 switch under the HSI. Updated MVAMS to add a checkbox for the AP System. Added new lightmap BMP files for the new instruments. Added click spots to turn on/off the cabin lights from the overhead (click on the depression in the front) or either of the rear lights. Note that if using the “Freeradio” option night lights require Shift-L to control. Edited all 40 of the panel.cfg files to add the two new lightmaps. Updated the aircraft.cfg file per Well’s latest version. SOURCE INFO https://milviz.com/flight/products/PA30/ https://fselite.net/news/milviz-updates-pa-30-twin-comanche/

  4. FlyJSim Updates 727 Series Professional V3 SOURCE INFO Despite releasing an excellent aircraft last month, developers FlyJSim has updated their 727 Series Professional 3 with a range of fixes and general improvements for the user. The primary focus area of this update are on mach hold and tape movements, the leading edge flaps not deploying when using the alternate flap and visuals on the aft cargo door. Further to general fixes, the team have added a brand new maintenance system for the tires. If you’re a pilot that likes to land firm, you may need to rethink your style as if you land too hard or heavy, prepare to pop a tire or collapse your gear (and have a meeting with tea no biscuits with your manager). There’s a nice range of improvements in the free update from the team, so waste time no more and download the update to the plane we enjoyed very much. You will need to grab the Skunkcrafts updater to download and apply update 3.1809.1125 to your 727 Series Professional V3. Here’s the full change log courtesy of their Facebook post. https://fselite.net/news/flyjsim-updates-727-series-professional-v3/

Reloading the scenery databases is recommended. Improvements Navigraph Added Navigraph database cycle 1707 to program download archive. Database is prepared and used automatically on startup. See the Navigation Databases chapter in the manual for more information. Added sub-menu for Navigraph database in menu Scenery Library with three display options. Program can now display mixed data (e.g. FSX/N in titlebar) on map and in information window: Complete airports and ILS from simulator data. Navaids, airways, airspaces and procedures from third party navdata like Navigraph. Changed main window title bar to indicate usage of navdata (e.g. Navigraph): FSX/N: simulator and navdata, (FSX)/N: navdata only and FSX: simulator only. See Window Title in the online manual. Additonal third party database is now opened from application directory first and can be overloaded in settings database directory by a newer one. Programm checks database internal compilation time before copying and creates database indexes on demand. Database is copied and prepared on first startup. Flight Plan Export Enabled saving of the new X-Plane 11 FMS file format and added warning before saving since the format is not usable by X-Plane 11.05. Other Updated Linux startup script so that it can be used also by the desktop launcher (thanks to Valerio for the tip). Now adding all readme and changelog files to macOS deployment. Added command line option -s or --settings-directory that allows to change the ABarthel part of the settings directory for testing purposes like running more than one version of Little Navmap. Fixed display of navaids in information dock window on procedure tab and removed SIDs and STARs since this information was not useful. Added cycle information to X-Plane menu item in scenery library menu showing AIRAC cycle of loaded X-Plane database. Scenery library menu item is now disabled instead of being hidden if only one simulator is installed. Adapted airspace and COM display to new types. Added caution airspace. Information dock window on tab Runways/Helipads can now display more than one ILS for a runway end (EDDF 25R/07L in X-Plane). Fixed Errors Fixed error where ARINC name of procedures was not loaded causing problems when exporting and loading flight plans. Fixed problem in ATS route string parser where an airway as an invalid first entry did not generate a warning message. Fixed error in route string parser which did not recognize STARs correctly. Fixed error where first enroute waypoint contained an airway reference after calculating with SID in some cases. This caused problems when exporting some flight plan formats and in the route string parser. Fixed several display issues with large airspaces and airways crossing the anti meridian. These showed up mirrored with their tooltips in other parts of the world. Small problems remain (e.g. Melbourne FIR). FSX/P3D: Added workaround for scenery sort order with add-on.xml files missing layer id. Now forcing navaid updates of fsAerodata to highest priority. Fixed error where an automatic connect was attempted even when hostname is empty. Fixed problem with almost invisible checkbox, radiobutton and toolbar-button state in night mode. Fixed error with wrong ILS pitch in X-Plane compiler. Value was rounded to integer value. Better handling of X-Plane OpenAirspace comments. Fixed crashes and freezes with invalid or incomplete procedures. Drawing code is now more robust for invalid procedure legs as they appear in some add-on scenery. Fixed problem where invalid procedure legs were not recognized (course/heading to DME distance or VOR radial). Fixed problem where no scenery database was selected on first startup causing crashes when loading a flight plan. Fixed handling of missing or inaccessible legend file. Now silently ignores error and redirects to web page if unavailable. Fixed error in scenery library menu where a menu item could be deselected resulting in no selection at all. See the included CHANGELOG.txt or here online for a complete list across all versions.
  15. Great news! New updates are available for VSKYLABS Aeropro EuroFOX Project v3.7 (20.11.2017). Current version is now v3.7 (20th November 2017). This update is non-scheduled and was triggered to encounter some engine issues which were detected during X-Plane 11.10 beta versions testings. It is a minor update in terms of new features, but a major update in terms of internal engineering and preparation for the upcoming updates. Another aspect of the update is that from version v3.7, support for X-Plane 10.51 was ended. The VSKYLABS EuroFOX is now ready for X-Plane 11.10, and in the near future will be updated with the scheduled plan. 22. Captains, We have just pushed a few small, cleanup updates that should be propagating out in the PMDG Operations Center as we speak. (It takes a few hours to reach all sectors of the globe, so if you don't see them this instant, don't panic- it just takes a bit to boil out there...) The 777-200LR/F got a very small update that was focused on cleaning up a couple of items that we captured during research for a pending update on the 747- and since the item affected all product lines, the 777 update became necessary. You can check the change log for a list of minor items that were also included. (Note: The 777-300ER was not updated because it gets it's behavioral logic from the base package, and as such an update wasn't needed.) The 737NGX (both the 800/900 base package and the 600/700 expansion) were updated to clean up a few items that we missed during the round of updates related to Prepar3D v4 compatibility. Primarily these are very small items, but we also had a few texture/lighting/click spot anomalies that we wanted to address within Prepar3D v4- and this update should take care of those. This update series also wraps in a couple of minor items that were pass-down fixes from our continued work on the 747-400, and you can read the change log for more details if you like. Livery Update for the DC-6 for FSX/P3D: We pushed the "Independence" livery that Pete Sterling created last week. This originally started out as an internal piece but it came out so beautifully we felt that it should be shared. Pending updates for the 747-400: We have some items we are wrapping up to push out for the 747-400, but they are still being worked internally. We also have a massive amount of stuff we are holding back because it will get previewed with the 747-8, and those previews should start up here fairly soon. We are WAY (way way) behind on that project thanks in large part to the all-hands effort required to get all of the Prepar3D v4 compatibility taken care of- but last I checked it seemed everyone was back to using the time clock in the 747-8 assembly hall, so this is indeed a good thing. Stay tuned- we will have more for you soon! LINK TO SOURCE: https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/519789-13sep17-updates-pushed-for-737ngx-all-and-777-200lrf-product-lines/
  23. http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/129472-paya-yakutat-125-update/ A patch has been released for PAYA Yakutat and should be available through FTX Central. The patch contains the following changes: -Sharpened textures for buildings -Ground polygon updated to native Prepar3D format, and rebuilt with new materials. FSX users still get an FS2002 ground polygon, but with nicer textures. -Newer snow style added to ground polygon. P3D users have a control panel option to enable snow, it is not on by default -Added some additional clutter such as powerlines, and additional crates and barrels. -Replaced low polygon cars in prominent areas with newer models -Replaced the old default beacon model -Fixed runway light halos appearing square -Replaced the snow pile in the middle of the apron with improved models -Rendered all new lightmaps -Re-rendered the WWII hangar in 2048px with a control panel option.
