The QualityWings Simulations team has shared some brand new details for their forthcoming Ultimate 787 version 1.2. The Facebook post gave a look at some of the more significant changes to come, along with a brief statement on Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.

First and foremost, it was confirmed that the new update, version 1.2, of the Ultimate 787 will contain the anticipated 787-10 variant. This is a brand new external model and also changes to other characteristics including the flight dynamics, fuel burn, weights, cockpit changes and more. This isn’t just a visual change, but quite an extensive simulation of the largest of the Dreamliner aircraft.

Alongside the 787-10, the team have also worked hard on re-doing the weather radar for improved performance and other enhancements. In addition, vPilot and GSX have been fully integrated with the aircraft. Other improvements for the Ultimate 787 in version 1.2 will be the display fonts and also the panel state system. Finally, the team have also included engine windmilling.

Many of these changes come from feedback from the community – whether it was from people at events such as FSExpo or through their forums.
