prepar3d / fsx Is the Carenado PC12 "Frame Hungry" for anyone else?

Recommended Posts

It's such an amazing looking plane but I can't for the life of me get it to be silky smooth like just about every other plane in my hangar. The only way I can get great frames is by flying my IFR profile.  I thought v2 would change this, it didn't and I'm now wondering, is it only me!?

Any tips/tricks?

That's strange. I know their G1000 eats up a lot of resources but, that doesn't apply in this situation and I'm sure you're using the 750 anyway. Maybe it's the window and instrument reflections. There is ton of glass around the cockpit. The Phenom 300 does the same to my system, I get better performance from the Q400 and A2A Connie with the same settings.
